DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN USE TAX-FREE CHILDCARE FOR TUITION? 👀

Because Little Owl Tuition is Ofsted registered, eligible families can use Tax-Free Childcare or childcare vouchers towards the cost of their child’s sessions with us.

With Tax-Free Childcare, the government can add £2 for every £8 you pay into your childcare account; meaning you could save 20% on your tuition fees.

It’s something lots of parents don’t realise they can use for tuition!

HOW’S THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR GOING? 📚

We’re a few weeks into the new school year now - which means you might be starting to get a clearer picture of how your child is settling in.

Maybe they’ve come home saying the work feels tricky.

Maybe homework is already becoming a battle.

Maybe they’ve moved up a year and their confidence has taken a wobble.

Or perhaps they’re doing brilliantly and you’d simply like to keep that momentum going.

This is a great point in the term to put a little extra support in place. 💛

At Little Owl, our English & Maths sessions are taught by qualified teachers in small groups of no more than 6, helping children build skills AND confidence.

We still have some availability across our Boldmere and Four Oaks centres.

💛 TUITION ISN’T JUST FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE “BEHIND"

One of the biggest things we work on at Little Owl is confidence.

Sometimes a child understands far more than they think they do, but they’re reluctant to put their hand up, worried about getting something wrong or have simply decided that they’re “not good at maths” or “can’t do English”.

In our small groups of no more than 6 children, there’s time to ask questions, revisit tricky concepts and celebrate the little wins that can make a huge difference.

And equally, if your child is already doing well, tuition can give them the extra challenge they need to keep progressing.

Our aim isn’t to pile on pressure.

It’s to help children walk into school thinking:

“I can do this.” 💛

🍂 Why is September such a great time to start tuition?

Because tuition doesn’t have to be about waiting until your child is struggling.

Starting early in the school year gives children time to:

✨ build confidence as new topics are introduced
✨ fill any little gaps before they become bigger ones
✨ practise skills at their own pace
✨ ask questions they might not feel confident asking in class
✨ develop strong routines for the year ahead

At Little Owl, we’re not about piling on pressure. Our small classes are designed to give children the extra teacher time, encouragement and confidence that can be difficult to get in a busy classroom.

With no more than 6 children in a class and a qualified teacher leading each session, every child gets plenty of individual support. 🦉💗
