👋 Meet Sarah!

Sarah has been teaching for 10 years and brings enthusiasm, encouragement and plenty of smiles to every lesson. She loves creating a positive learning environment where children feel confident to have a go and celebrate their achievements.

💛 What Sarah loves about Little Owl:
"I love getting to know the children and their families and being part of each child's journey. Seeing their confidence grow and watching them progress is the most rewarding part of my job."

➕ Favourite subject: Maths – because numbers are fun!

📖 Favourite children's book: The Harry Potter series. Sarah loved reading the books growing up herself, so it's lovely to see a new generation of children discovering the magic and enjoying the stories just as much.

🦉 Sarah's friendly and supportive nature helps children feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door, making learning enjoyable while helping every child reach their full potential. We're so lucky to have her as part of the Little Owl team!

👋 Meet Mary!

Mary has been teaching for 24 years and brings a huge amount of experience, enthusiasm and encouragement to every lesson. She loves helping children discover that learning can be both challenging and fun!

💛 What Mary loves about Little Owl:
Building strong relationships with pupils through learning and fun. She believes that when children feel happy, supported and understood, they become much more confident learners.

🧩 Favourite subject: Non-Verbal Reasoning! Mary loves the challenge of problem-solving and enjoys helping children develop the logical thinking and strategies needed to tackle even the trickiest puzzles.

📖 Favourite children's book: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe – a timeless adventure full of imagination, bravery and the belief that ordinary children can achieve extraordinary things.

👋 Meet Charlotte!

Charlotte has been part of the Little Owl family for 5 years, bringing with her an incredible 28 years of experience as a primary school teacher. Her wealth of knowledge and calm, encouraging approach make her a firm favourite with both children and parents.

💛 What Charlotte loves about Little Owl:
"Teaching small groups allows me to really get to know each student and find the best ways to support them on their own learning journey. It's wonderful to see their confidence grow week by week."

📖 Favourite children's book: The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark; a heartwarming story about overcoming fears, building confidence and discovering that the things we worry about aren't always as scary as they seem.

📚 Favourite adult book: The Beekeeper of Aleppo - a powerful and moving story of hope, resilience and the strength of the human spirit.

👋 Hi, I'm Kate – the founder of Little Owl Tuition!

If you've ever emailed, called or sent us a message, there's a good chance you've spoken to me! I look after all things Little Owl behind the scenes, as well as making sure every child and family has the best possible experience with us.

📚 I've been teaching since 2012, and after years in the classroom I created Little Owl with one simple aim: to provide a place where every child can grow in confidence and enjoy learning.

➕ Favourite subject: Maths (there's nothing more satisfying than that moment when something suddenly clicks!)

📖 Favourite children's book: Danny, the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl. I love the warmth of the relationship between Danny and his dad, the sense of adventure, and the message that kindness, courage and believing in yourself matter far more than being the biggest or the best.

🦉 What I love most about Little Owl: Seeing children realise what they're capable of. Every child deserves the chance to shine, whatever their starting point or ability. I also love watching friendships grow and seeing the positive relationships our teachers build with every child. When children feel happy, supported and believed in, amazing things happen.
