Adam Newbery Guitar Tuition Adam Newbery is a self employed guitar tutor and musician with more than 20 years of musical experience. Lessons take place at my home and student's houses.

I have been playing music for over 20 years and teaching music for over five years. My musical education started with piano lessons at the age of 7 and progressed to guitar at the age of 15. Since completing my degree in the summer of 2007 I have been teaching guitar privately. This started with parents asking me to teach their children and has progressed to me having around 20 students a week. I also teach at Walsall Academy, The Coleshill School and St Barnabas CE Primary School. The electric guitar is my primary instrument but I am also proficient in acoustic, bass and Classical guitar styles and instruct students on these instruments also. Many of my students prefer to learn music of their own choosing but I am also able to supply challenging pieces from my substantial collection of music. Some students choose to work towards Rockschool examinations, learn to read notation or need help with school work. I am able to cater for these needs also.

Tuesday will be my last day of teaching at my Smith's Wood studio as I'll be relocating back to Water Orton over the half term break. Fortunately my students won't have to change their journeys too much 🙂

From November I'll have spaces available for new students in Water Orton on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Please get in touch for further information.
