How we stay safe in an outdoor preschool

11/09/2026

We are so proud of how well all the children have settled back despite such a lovely long summer holiday, yes there's been a few initial tears but quickly replaced with smiles and laughter.
The sucess of our settling is partly due to our amazing children and their lovely families, also due to the systems we have in place (slow, steady and at the child's pace), our fantastic staff team (always available for cuddles, support, stories, games or a listening ear) and our wonderful woodland setting (lots of interesting distractions to explore and discover)!

Water play - Outdoor Preschool style!

What a warm week! 😎 We spent the week playing in the shade of our woodland, relaxing in hammocks, lots of drinks breaks, watering the brambles (and each other)... and we made a new friend!

It was a "crazy-weather" day today - coats on, hoods up, hoods down, coats off, coats on, hoods up, hoods down... we didn't find many bugs but we found lots of PUDDLES!
