Supporting Carers and People Living with Diabetes - Diabetes Week 8th June - 14th June 2026
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to CET for collaborating with NHG to support both carers and people living with type 2 diabetes.
Managing diabetes can be challenging, not only for those diagnosed but also for the family members, friends, and carers who provide invaluable day-to-day support. Through partnership working, we delivered two programmes 6 / 7 weeks for men and women, supporting carers and diabetes patients have access to information, guidance, and community support that promotes better health and wellbeing.
Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more supportive community.

Introduction to Digital Skills Course
In addition to our women’s Digital Skills courses, we have successfully launched an Over 50s Introduction to Digital Skills course for a men’s group.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Access Foundation for their support in making this possible.
Now in its third week, the group has settled in well, with participants growing in confidence and beginning to engage positively with digital learning.
This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind in an increasingly digital world, regardless of age or background.
