Avery (he/him) is the Events Officer for the Rainbow Network. After doing a Nuclear Engineering degree at the University he now works as an Outreach Officer for a Widening Particaption project.

The 18th of November marks International Day of This day involving orgsnisers including , ***rsinstem , , STEM Berlin, .of.stem House of STEM, .global, LGBTQ+ Physics, LGBT STEM, , , ***rscientists , and Qu**rs & Trans in STEM.

Outside of his day job Avery have volunteered with oSTEM Global for 5 years, starting as the Regional Coordinator for UK & New England, before becoming Director of Student Membership and recently served as Co-Chair for the Annual Conference, this year held in Anaheim, CA.

This event was held over 9th-12th November, inviting 1200 students and professionals from across the globe and featured keynotes Kyne and Dr Isaacs.

At the end of this week, we will honour the memory of trans people whoโ€™s lives were lost in transphobic violence. Join us together with and for Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on Monday 20th November 12.30-1.30pm.
