We are proud to be a part of Whitechapel Sponsor group that hosted a successful fundraising Iftar at Tayyabs. The highlight of the evening was Amal sharing her moving story of her experiences where 'Life could change over night. Today you may have a decent life, but tomorrow you may end up being a refugee and in another country'.

Inter-uni vigil for the victims of the Christchurch Mosque shootings
Join us as we remember the lives that were selfishly taken away.
Join us as we demand justice and discuss the othering of minorities which government policies, such as Prevent, and the media have contributed to.
Join us as we tackle the wider issue of Islamophobia that goes beyond individual prejudices and works within our institutions.

An amazing fundraising event! Leaders from QM Citizens society have worked so hard and it has been rewarding. We have raised in excess of £1100 for the Whitechapel welcomes project which aims to resettle Syrian refugees in London.
