IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM FORMISSION COLLEGE
After 45 years as a theological college, we're announcing a significant development in the college's future. ForMission's programmes will be discontinued from September 2025 but we're pleased to announce an agreement with Moorlands College (www.moorlands.ac.uk), a college with vision and values that accord with our own.

Under this agreement, elements of the community, mission and legacy of ForMission will be integrated into the life and ministry of Moorlands, enabling ForMission's distinctive focus on mission and ministry to continue in a new home. Current ForMission students will be helped and encouraged to transfer onto a Moorlands programme similar to what they're currently studying.

We are passing on the news that Bob Wetzel, former Principal of Springdale College, has gone to glory.

Dr. Wetzel had a wonderful impact on so many of our students and, more broadly, on the Kingdom; his legacy will continue for generations. Please hold Bob's wife, Bonnie, their daughters, Gilan and Darcy, and the entire family in your prayers during this difficult time.

John is a well-known and highly respected theologian and missiologist. He has been part of the ForMission community for 10 years as a tutor on our MA courses. John (or ‘JBB’ as he is often known) brings a wealth of international and cross-cultural experience, having worked for the World Council of Churches, the World Evangelical Alliance, Global Connections, Churches Together in England and elsewhere. We are delighted that ForMission will be benefiting from his skills, experience and vision, and confident that our excellent MA in Missional Leadership will be continuing in safe hands.

Around the world, millions of people are forced to flee their homes due to war, disaster or persecution. Some of these will find shelter in their own country; millions of others will seek refuge in other countries. Today, ForMission voices its support for the world’s refugees and prays for an end to the crises that have displaced them. We also call for compassion and hospitality from those countries receiving refugees in their hour of need.
