Say Cheese! First Cooking Society session = SUCCESS 🧀🔥
Students came together to cook from scratch, learn new skills, and share a proper hot meal 🍝 Our homemade mac & cheese went down a treat!

Our annual Awards Ceremony is taking place on Thursday 14th May 2026 with Refreshments starting at 4:30pm in the Main Atrium. The Awards Ceremony will commence in the Chapel from 5:15pm.

This event is extremely important to us as a Union because it provides an opportunity to celebrate and recognise the amazing and hard work that our staff and students have done throughout the year.

Student Voice is at the heart of what the Students’ Union does. Each year we elect Student Leaders to promote, amplify and advocate for your views and desires during your time here at Birmingham Newman University.
On Wednesday 25th March, the voting closed and you voted for who you wanted to represent you for the 2026/2027 academic year. This year our voter turnout increased by 89.2%. A huge step forward for student voice and democratic engagement and something we are incredibly proud of.
