Our Bringing Out the Best award for this week goes to two children who have impressed their class with their kindness and their hard work. What an excellent way of bringing out the best in ourselves and each other!

Well done to our boys cricket team who played tonight. Mr Jenkins was very pleased that they got to play in what he called 'proper cricket weather'.

For our Bringing Out the Best this week, we are celebrating two children who make others happy. One has been recognised for spotting when others need help and the other has been recognised for making people laugh with some funny jokes!

Year 1 combined nature and narrative by drawing The Colour Monster during Forest School. There’s no better place to explore big feelings than the great outdoors. 🍂🖍️

Well done to all of our athletes, from Year 3 to Year 6, who competed at the Abbey Stadium last week. You all did really well and we are so impressed at the effort that was put in!

Well done to our two times tables heroes for this week who have been working really hard over the last week and the school holidays to get the most correct answers that they can!

Well done to all of the children recognised and celebrated in Congratulations Assembly this morning! We had a huge number of children celebrating a variety of achievements, from being a brilliant member of their class, a star reader, writer or mathematician, being amazing at lunchtime or celebrating something they have achieved outside of school.

Keep up all the hard work!

For Bringing Out the Best today we celebrate two of our oldest children who have been recognised for their kindness and compassion towards everyone they meet and for setting the high standards for others to follow. We are very lucky to have these two in our school community!

Year 6 had a workshop from Carl, who visited from the Barber Institute, today. They learned more about the Barber Institute and designed their own art gallery, as well as learning a bit about different careers they can do which involve being creative.
