A few weeks ago, our Acting Department welcomed more than 40 BOA Acting alumni back to the academy for a fantastic Alumni Day! 🎭✨

The day gave our Year 12 Acting students the opportunity to hear first-hand about life after BOA, with alumni sharing their experiences, offering invaluable advice and taking part in bespoke Q&A sessions.

Our former students have gone on to incredible destinations and careers, including training at Rose Bruford, Drama Studio London, East 15 and LIPA, securing BBC apprenticeships, and building successful careers with ITV, British Airways, Digital Marketing, the Royal Artillery, and many other industries.

A huge thank you to all of our alumni who returned to inspire the next generation. Your stories, advice and encouragement made a real difference, and we can't wait to welcome you back again! 💙

Another incredible BOA Group alumni success! 🌟đŸĢ

Huge congratulations to two of our talented former students, Maisie Britton and Leah Swain-Heath, who have both been cast in the upcoming historical drama series, The Cadburys.

Set in 1860s Birmingham, the six-part series follows brothers Richard and George Cadbury as they build the world-famous chocolate empire. Inspired by Deborah Cadbury's book Chocolate Wars, the series is set to premiere in 2027 on U and U&Drama.

They'll be joining a star-studded cast featuring Harry Gilby, Jessica Barden, Ben Hardy, Joanna Scanlan and more.

We're incredibly proud to see alumni from two of our specialist academies appearing in the same major television production. Maisie attended BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy from 2022 – 2024, studying on the Writing, Directing and Screen Craft pathway, while Leah attended BOA Creative, Digital & Performing Arts Academy from 2020 – 2022, studying on the Acting pathway đŸŽŦ🎭

Moments like this highlight the strength of the BOA Group, with talented graduates from across our academies going on to achieve success in the creative industries.

Congratulations, Maisie and Leah! We can't wait to watch you both on screen and see where your careers take you next 👏

Huge congratulations to BOA alumnus Jeevan on landing the role of Angel in the West End revival of Rent! 🌟

Jeevan, who studied Acting at BOA until 2023, will take on the iconic role of Angel – a kind-hearted young drag queen whose compassion, humour and resilience make them one of the musical's most beloved characters.

This exciting new role follows Jeevan's incredible professional debut as Rusty in the acclaimed revival of Starlight Express, where he won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Professional Debut and the Stage Debut Award for Best Performer in a Musical, as well as receiving a Black British Theatre Award nomination.

We're so proud to see Jeevan continuing to achieve such incredible success, and we can't wait to see him shine on the West End stage. Congratulations, Jeevan! 👏🎭

🌈 Happy Pride at BOA! 🌈

Today, we're celebrating Pride by coming together as a community to recognise, support and celebrate our LGBTQ+ students, staff and allies.

Throughout the day, BOA will be filled with incredible performances, including live music, dance, MCs and a special performance from our staff choir – all showcasing the creativity, talent and inclusivity that make our school so special.

At BOA, we believe everyone should feel seen, valued and empowered to be their authentic selves. Happy Pride to everyone celebrating today! đŸŗī¸â€đŸŒˆâœ¨
