Last week we attended UCL Technical Showcase 2026, UCL200 Special Edition, an event celebrating the contribution technical professionals make across higher education, research and innovation.

Last week, Sophie and Hayley were in for Lloyds Clinical’s Careers Roadshow, supporting colleagues in exploring career pathways, development opportunities and the different ways they can continue to build their skills.

For many people, progression starts with a conversation.

It is the chance to ask questions, understand what options are available and think about what the next step could look like.

For employers, it is also a reminder that workforce development starts from within. The people already in the business often have the knowledge, commitment and potential to grow into the skills the organisation will need next.

We were pleased to be part of the careers roadshow, supporting Lloyds Clinical colleagues as they explored what their future could and can look like.

There's a lot of excitement about AI and automation in manufacturing right now, and rightly so. The technology is impressive and the potential gains in quality and efficiency are real.
