It's been a super busy week, the story of the week was "A Squash and Squeeze", the children tried to squeeze themselves into the box and it ripped open. Physically learning what happens when we squeeze too many things into something.
It's been a really lovely week and sun β˜€ made it that much better......have great weekend everyone!

It was Goldilocks and the Three Bears week and the children made their own porridge, with a little honey to sweeten it and some fruit.
The Children really enjoyed making it and found it delicious asking for more!

The Children have had a brilliant time this morning, playing out in the rain.
We didn't take any bikes or cars out, but they were just so busy exploring the garden and playing on our new climbing rope.
Some of the children really enjoyed playing with the water trickling off the gazebo.

As the blessed month of Ramadan begins tomorrow, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. May this sacred time be filled with peace, joy, and spiritual growth for all of us.

As we embark on this journey of fasting and reflection, let us also remember the importance of patience, kindness, and empathy in our interactions with each other and with the children and families we serve.

May this Ramadan bring us closer together as a community, strengthening our bonds of friendship and collaboration. Let us continue to work together to provide nurturing environments for our little ones, where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

Ramadan Mubarak to you and your families

The excitement was palpable this morning! In the past few weeks the children have been really interested in the Knights.
Unfortunately, lots of the knights were missing arms and legs (obviously because of the wars they have fought)
It was high time we invested in new knights. They couldn't believe how beautiful these knights were, all of the children sat there in awe and showed me all the detail on each of them.
I think we just renewed their excitement!

We both just got on with doing what we needed to.

We've had a wonderful day of shopping. Lots of mummies and daddies came to help walk the children to the local Lidl.
We found all the ingredients for tomorrow's baking, we're baking scones.
We're so proud of all the children for being so good while walking and in Lidl.
A brilliant experience for the children and their mummies.

Learning about pumpkins, its a great little resource.
The Children have been amazed by it, they tried to pick up and decided its just far too heavy. They've put eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth on it.
The story of the week is.... https://youtu.be/gtKHcsuHmoo?feature=shared ........The Happy Little Pumpkin.

It's that time of the year again!
I wonder what learning will take place with the help of this pumpkin?

Well, I think the sun has gone but we really made the most of it. It was so lovely on Monday, it called for ice lollies and the children loved them.
On Tuesday they found a spider and the children we so intrigued, there was such wonderful conversation going on....where was the spider going, what did it eat, where was his mummy, we should be kind to all insects and why.
It's also "Owl babies" week, so the spider linked with the subject of owls too.

Well, it's been a really busy week of settling lots of new children and there's been a few tears, but as always we'll get to the point where children will come in happily.
This week's story was Llama Llama and he was feeling just as anxious as out new children as his mama left him to do some jobs.
Why don't you read this story with your children over the weekend and let them know Mama is always near.

It's been a beautiful week all about colours 🌈.
While settling our new children, we've also been talking about our favourite colours, how they make us feel, the colours we see in our environment.
Wow said the owl is a beautiful story just about the lovey colours we see all around us.
The link to the story has been added below, why don't you watch it together with your children at bedtime tonight.
