The children have loved growing our tomatoes in our allotment, they have looked after them by watering them and picking them when ready 🍅 using knives safely to cut and try them.

The children enjoyed a walk around the woodlands and to the pond to explore using their senses what we could see, smell and hear. We saw the ducks, squirrels and birds and could hear many different sounds. 🦆🍂🐿🐦‍⬛

We had a lovely afternoon with The Animal Man Becky brought with her an owl, a baby owl, hissing cockroaches, a snake, a legless lizard, a lizard, a skunk, and a tenrec. All the children were very brave, either holding or stroking each one 🦨🦉🦎

SPORTS DAY UPDATE: CANCELLED
Due to the current weather conditions and the Met Office weather warning in place we have made the difficult decision to cancel sports day.

Although we have spent some time outside this morning we have been encouraging children to stay in the shade and to sit/walk rather than run as per the weather warning guidance.

We will try our best to rearrange as soon as we feel it is safe to do so and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our children safe.

There is still time to book your place.
