We had a lovely afternoon with The Animal Man Becky brought with her an owl, a baby owl, hissing cockroaches, a snake, a legless lizard, a lizard, a skunk, and a tenrec. All the children were very brave, either holding or stroking each one 🦨🦉🦎

SPORTS DAY UPDATE: CANCELLED
Due to the current weather conditions and the Met Office weather warning in place we have made the difficult decision to cancel sports day.

Although we have spent some time outside this morning we have been encouraging children to stay in the shade and to sit/walk rather than run as per the weather warning guidance.

We will try our best to rearrange as soon as we feel it is safe to do so and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our children safe.

There is still time to book your place.

Thankyou Emma The Music Lady - Music Sessions For Babies and Young Children we had a lovely morning singing about the animals hiding in the tree, and calming music to the tiny drum and meditation bowl. Think you enjoyed holding our chicks 🐥

This morning we had a visit from Tim who is a bee keeper. He told us all about the different types of bees, what they eat and how they make honey. We got to look at a frame from a beehive and even got to taste some honey! We learnt there are over 250 species of bees and that every single hexagon shape inside the hive is made by the bees!

The children are very excited we have 2 chicks hatched today, 3 more hopefully later 🤞🐣🐥
