The babies have been learning to express themselves through mirror play, some able to identify parts of their body's.

The 2 year olds have been learning to explore stories using props and different textures.

The children have been learning to use natural materials to explore shapes within their play.
Children have m taken an interest in exploring insects they have found in the garden, using mathematical language to count and compare amounts and sizes.

The children had an exciting time sharing lots of activities with their Mums and Nans during our Mother’s Day stay and play.

Children have been celebrating their love for books. Children learnt to share books, take part in recalling favourite parts and listening with interest to new and familiar books. They developed new vocabulary and used props.

The children showed curiosity and interest when learning about Chinese New Year.
They tried new textures and tastes, making lanterns practising their cutting and sticking skills. The children enjoyed talking about the different animals and learned that this year was the year of the horse.

The children have been learning about Shrove Tuesday where they took part in tasting a variety of different fruits and pancakes. The older children used their imagination to create their own faces on the pancake.

This week the older children have been taking part in some Valentine's activities where they was able to talk about who is special to them, explore different textures and colours and create their own mark making in cards they made.
The younger children had lots of fun using different tools to create marks in the shaving foam.
