Our KEVI HGS School Orchestra had the incredible opportunity to attend the CBSO’s performance of The Rite of Spring, conducted by Ilan Volkov, and what a night it was! From powerful themes of tragedy to moments of chaotic brilliance, every piece kept us inspired and engaged.

Highlights included the fascinating history behind Stravinsky’s masterpiece and the sheer impact of live orchestral performance. A truly enriching and exciting evening that left us all eager for more!

📢 School Represented at International AI Roundtable

Mr King represented the school at the Franco-British AI Inclusion and Trust Roundtable in London 🇬🇧🇫🇷, joining experts from education, industry and government to explore the future of artificial intelligence 🤖

Discussions focused on AI safety, trust, inclusion and how young people can be supported to engage confidently with emerging technologies. This reflects the important work already taking place within our Computing curriculum, preparing students for a rapidly changing digital world 🌍

Well done to all 29 students that took part in the Year 10 Biology Challenge.

All students have done brilliantly, with all achieving either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended certificate.

🥈 Silver: 12 students
🥉 Bronze: 5 students
🌟 Highly Commended: 1 student

All certificates will be given out during our Rewards assembly later this year.
