As another school year comes to an end, we say a fond farewell to our wonderful Year 6 children.

What a great group of young people you are. You have grown in confidence, kindness and resilience, and it has been a privilege to watch your journey.

As you begin your next adventure at secondary school, remember to be brave, work hard, be kind to others and believe that ‘Anything is possible’.

Wherever your journey takes you, a little piece of Water Mill will always be with you, and we hope you’ll always look back on your time here with happy memories.

Good luck, Year 6. We wish you every success and happiness for the future. You’ll always be part of the Water Mill family.

Year 3 had a fabulous time at their school sleepover on Friday night. They enjoyed a fun filled evening of exciting activities and delicious food….but not sure they got a great amount of sleep 😴

Over the last couple of months year 6 have been developing their Oracy Skills though our ‘ Stand Up Speak Out’ programme. The finalists performed brilliantly in school.
The highlight came last week though when our school finalist performed her speech at the National Finals. We are incredibly proud of her clarity and determination. A real asset to our Water Mill community and clearly ready for secondary school and beyond. Congratulations Ishani!

What a fabulous day at Weston Super Mare with Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. We built sand castles, had a donkey ride, ate an ice cream and paddled our toes in the really warm sea 🌊🪣

The children have been amazing!! Well done everyone 😊

We have just left an amazing residential at Blackwell Adventure with some of our Year 5 and Year 6 children, and we couldn’t be prouder of them all.

Throughout the trip, they challenged themselves, conquered fears, stepped outside their comfort zones, and embraced new experiences with courage and determination.

Whether climbing, zip-lining, problem-solving or simply encouraging one another, they showed resilience, teamwork and positivity every step of the way.

They have been an absolute credit to our school and to their families, demonstrating excellent behaviour, kindness and respect throughout the residential. It has been a genuine pleasure and privilege to spend this time with them and watch them grow in confidence.

Well done everyone – you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. We certainly are! ⭐
