🔙✨ A Flashback to the Young, Curious, and Inexperienced Administrator of a Law Firm - Me!

Ten years ago, I embarked on an incredible journey as an administrator at a law firm. Looking back, I am amazed at how far I've come since those early days. Today, I am proud to say that I have started my own company, expanded partnerships, taken on four volunteer roles, and built a network across major economic sectors, reaching even as far as the Nigerian Presidential Palace.

But this is just the beginning. There is still so much more to learn, build, and rebuild. I firmly believe that learning is a continuous process and the key to personal and professional growth. Each day presents new opportunities for development and improvement.

So, as we kick off this week, let's remember that every experience, whether big or small, has contributed to shaping us into the individuals we are today. Let's embrace the challenges, seek knowledge, and keep pushing ourselves to new heights. Together, let's make this week one of growth, learning, and inspiration.

As Pride Month begins, I am excited to welcome all students to the vibrant and inclusive community at ULAW Birmingham. This month is a time to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, their contributions, and the progress we have made towards equality and acceptance.

At ULAW, we not only provide exceptional legal education but also foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all our students. Our lecturers are the epitome of excellence and dedication. Allow me to highlight a few remarkable individuals who make our learning experience truly exceptional.

🌟 Aroos, our extraordinary lecturer, has an incredible talent for simplifying complex legal concepts. Within seconds, she can break down the most challenging modules into easily understandable information. Her teaching style is engaging and empowers students to grasp the material with confidence.

🌟 David, a brilliant researcher, goes above and beyond to ensure students excel in their studies. He willingly sits down with students to exemplify areas where they may be experiencing difficulties. His dedication to student success is unmatched, and his guidance is invaluable.

🌟 Karim, a perfect gentleman, embodies the spirit of friendliness and student-focus. He creates a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and seeking assistance. Karim's genuine care and support contribute to an inclusive and enriching learning environment.

We are proud to have such outstanding individuals as part of our faculty. Their expertise, passion, and commitment to student development make ULAW stand out as a premier institution for legal education.

Holi at ulaw,-an insight into personalisation.

The Holi festival is more than a celebration of colours, but a sign of love.

We did gather to sing and dance, but throwing colour powder at each other was replaced by thumbing paper. The tutors and students had the freedom to press a colour of their choice with their thumbs on the large paper that we would end up sketching in the shape of a tree.

By going from office to office, floor to floor, and addressing everyone on the Birmingham campus, the experience highlighted three mindsets that customers will display in 2023 and beyond, and part of what businesses need to do in response: adapt and stay flexible. By the end of the exercise, we realised that:

Customers no longer like boundaries

Time is important

Give them options; you may have to keep feeding your dogs and cows (BCG Matrix)

Approach is key - big smile, look and expression
