Miss Wassell’s Geography Tutoring

Hello new followers 👋🏻

I’m Miss Wassell and I am a fully qualified Geography Teacher. I am looking to gain more experience in teaching GCSE level Geography so I’m offering online or face to face tutoring sessions. Lessons start at £20 per hour and my working hours are stated on my page (can be negotiated if needed) ✨

In relation to knowing more about my experience, I gained my PGCE in 2020 but due to Covid I didn’t get the entire experience I needed. Since then I’ve been working in schools supporting SEN pupils as a teaching assistant. In my most recent role, I have become a Humanities Academic Coach where I support in Geography, History, RE and Philosophy and Ethics lessons at Secondary level. I am experienced in delivering intervention and extra tuition sessions around the Geography GCSE curriculum to small groups and on a 1-1 basis. Not only do I support SEN pupils in this role but I also have the goal of getting the high attainers an even higher grade so I have experience of all abilities 🏫
