⭐ Netball News ⭐
Today our netballers have played 2 matches against Shirley Heath and have, unsurprisingly, done themselves proud again!
We had an unfortunate but close defeat in the first match and a well deserved win in the second!
All the children have played amazingly, getting some incredible interceptions and showcasing some brilliant shooting! They should be very proud of themselves.
🥳 An extra shout out goes to our 2 players of the match: Aaima and Leila! Well done both of you!! 🥳
We are looking forward to our next and final matches of the league on Friday.

⭐️ Netball News ⭐️
Our Netballer’s had another brilliant night last night at the tournament. Each team played 4 matches and played brilliantly in every single one!
Despite not winning many matches, every single one of them should be proud of themselves as they not only proved how much progress they have made but also set a brilliant example on respectful play and good sportsmanship by cheering on and encouraging the other teams.
Well done to all of our Netballers!
We are looking forward to our next 2 matches on Tuesday 🏐
⭐ Netball News! ⭐
Last night marked the start of a busy couple of weeks for our Netballers as they played their first 2 matches of the season.
Our first was against Tidbury Green, where all of the children played brilliantly despite a loss. There was some excellent shooting and tremendous interceptions too!
Our second match against Sharman's Cross was another spectacular match with a win of 8-1. In this match we started to find our flow a bit more and it definitely showed!
A big shout out to our Player of the Match: Elliott who received POTM for both matches! Well done Elliott!!
We are all looking forward to our tournament on Wednesday!

Before the holidays, we had our Easter visit to The Prince of Wales Care Home. It was lovely to see the children and residents chatting away and everyone was in good spirits.......especially as there was some chocolate involved!
The children sang some Easter themed songs and completed crafts with the residents- well done everyone it was a lovely afternoon.

Red Nose Day -Friday 20th March 2026
Peterbrook Primary School will be helping to change the lives of those less fortunate in the U.K. and across the world by participating in the BBC's Comic Relief Red Nose Day on Friday 20th March 2026.
This year the event is going' back to basics!' The focus is on helping people get what they need to eat, sleep and feel safe.
All you have to do is turn to the daft side and 'Take Yourself Funny for Money!'
We would like all children to take part in the following :
Donate £1 to dress up 'funny for money' - wear anything you find funny or something red. It could be funny odd socks, a funny t-shirt, a variety of funny clothes or funny hair styles. Please ensure all that is worn is suitable for the school day and for a P.E. lesson, if your child has one that day.
Take part in class cake sales. We would be most grateful for cake donations to run this. Please bring cakes, home made or bought into school from Wednesday 18th March ready to be sold on the Friday. The cakes should go straight to your child's class please.
All monies sent in for cakes should be in a named envelope please. £1 dress up donations should be handed to your child's teacher at registration.
Thank you for your continued support.
We look forward to a fantastically 'funny' day !
