As promised Autism was the topic of our coffee morning on Tuesday 12th May .
The room was so full we had to move to a bigger room!
We had presentations, questions, answers, emotions, frustrations and the the realization that your feelings are valid even if you feel like the world is against you. We are with you all our warriors mothers.
We love you all and will strive to fight until the end
Thank you for trusting us with your feelings 🌷❤️

Special coffee morning for our special mothers.
Self care is so important when you are a care giver and today’s skin care demonstration by Deeqp of Ancient Glow and the mini facials by Mariam were appreciated by our mothers

Tuesday 21st April was a busy and buzzing session. With 3 nurses, two ladies from the third sector, 2 ladies from our cultural immersion program and about 30 ladies from the local community, the subject of do vaccines cause autism was debated at length.
Two hours later, the parents and carers had more questions than answers but we will carry on with his conversation because information is power
Thank you to charlotte and Joanna for organising this
Thank you to our mothers for being confident and candid with your questions

Ramadan was quiet but immediately after Eid we had our first coffee morning which was a focus group facilitated by Joanne and charlotte of YPEC.
The group was buzzing with ideas but what always surprises me is that some ladies have never heard mental being discussed openly. This makes realize how vital the awareness work that we do is.
Thank you ladies 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
