A little bit of what we have been up to this summer holiday.

Children enjoys this simple activity following the book “Feelings” that we have been reading for a while. Every morning we take turns at pointing at how we feel. It is an occasion to talk about what we have planned for the day.

Thank you to the HEART Midlands stronger practice Hub for hosting the Early Years conference on Saturday.
It was a privilege to attend and being able to meet fellow childminders, having our questions answered and receive lots of good advices !

It may not look pretty but we learnt a great deal with our ice exploration both indoor and outdoor. Watching the frost on the leaf, ice melting when holding it or painting it, breaking the ice to access the leaves stuck inside.

Autumn is such a great time to talk about the weather changing, spending time outside collecting leaves and other treasures 🍁🍂🪵🍒🌰 and keeping up with our gardening ! 👩‍🌾
