As we hit the peak of yet another heatwave 🌞, children may wear their SCHOOL PE kit for the remainder of the week.

Please also remember sun cream and water! 💦

Your child may wear their SCHOOL PE kit today to keep a little cooler.

Please also ensure you send your child with water 💦 (which can be refilled at school) and apply sun cream!

We will do our best to limit time outside during peak hours. 👍

Today we welcomed back the fantastic M&M Theatrical Productions to Reaside, who took the children to the heart of the Indian jungle, following Mowgli and his animal friends on their fight for survival, in a fantastic retelling of The Jungle Book 🦧🐺🐅🐍

Thank you again M&M, the children were truly mesmerised! ✨

We have had a surprise visit today from Mrs Jones and the BEAUTIFUL Christopher 💙

Christopher arrived the very first day after we broke up for half term, weighing a healthy 8lbs 11oz. Both mom and baby are doing, as you can see, very well, and Christopher has a very excited and proud big sister at home!! 🩷

The children have loved seeing the new addition to the Reaside family, and staff have had lots of snuggles! 🥰

What a brilliant afternoon our children have had at Holly Hill who hosted a super Community Day! 👏🏻😁 Face painting, bouncy castle, games, raffles…. and ice creams all around!🍦

As part of our work with Birmingham City FC Foundation we were even able to bring along a special someone to meet and greet the children and pose for lots of photos - thank you Beau!! 🐶💙

Thank you to all of our staff who helped the children enjoy their afternoon, particularly those children with us until home time who were incredibly sensible. ☺️

Today we are celebrating Mrs Jones and her VERY impending arrival….. just in case! 😉 Baby Sprout is due next week but good old Mrs Jones is determined to plod on until half term!

We’ll keep you posted, and our fingers and toes are crossed, but let’s start showing her some love and wishing her the best! 💙💙💙

To our Year 6s beginning their SATs today - you have worked so hard and learnt so much, good luck 🍀, do your very best 🌟, and remember you are amazing and we are proud of every single one of you! 💙

Yoga Club🧘🏼‍♀️ in full swing this evening - it’s a great addition to our After School Clubs as it’s something very different that many of our children won’t have tried before!
