Hello everyone!!
Hope you’re all well and enjoying Mother’s Day. Thought I’d do another post as it’s coming to that time of year again, summers approaching and my year 11 students are getting ready to sit their exams. As we approach this time, my availability begins to open for weekly maths tutoring from May/June onwards and into next year. If you would like to try out my sessions and see if they are the right fit for you and your child, don’t be afraid to get in touch to find out more. Please be aware that over summer my schedule gets very full as people want to book in ready for next year so if you are interested please get in touch as soon as you can to secure a place!

This is a new page for my online maths tutoring service. My name is Victoria Wharton, I’m 18 years old and I've just completed my studies in A level maths with a predicted grade of an A*. I received the equivalent of a grade A in my GCSE's which is where I found my passion for maths. As a GCSE student, I always struggled with the concept of maths until a fantastic maths teacher came along and shifted my attitude towards the subject. This was so impactful that it made me want to help young people just like my teacher helped me. My lessons are tailored to each individual student and I plan the lessons around the areas in which the student feels they need to improve upon. Each lesson is launched on zoom which allows me to share my PowerPoints with the students and use the interactive whiteboard function to aid the learning process. I always strive to make each lesson engaging and I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes as this is how they can further their learning. Currently, my schedule is busy with many students already receiving lessons however, there are spaces opening up as we come towards the end of term and towards the new academic year.
