To help our year 11’s revise for their last science mock on Monday (physics) Miss Mansell set up a circus of required practical activities to help trigger the pupils memory. B. Weaver and M. Last Thursday, representatives from Aston University delivered two workshops to Year 7 and Year 9 as part of the Aspire to Aston programme.

Year 7 pupils had an assembly focused on an introduction to higher education and university.

Whereas, a group of 40 Year 9 pupils were involved in a targeted workshop to help them understand how the options they select in Year 9 will help them to make decisions about their pathways beyond school and post-18.

We will be continuing to work with Aston University across this academic year with further sessions to also include pupils in Year 8 as well.
