Today is the perfect day to start using arabic. Even if it's 1 word, 1 phrase or a whole paragraph. There are many ways you can incorporate arabic into this month. For example;
-learn vocabulary related to food and eating that you can use at Iftaar time with the family
-learn the meaning of a dua (or 2)
-read or listen to stories in arabic about the month of Ramadan
-make an Arabic word calendar and learn one new word for each day of the month
Sometimes starting is the hardest part but from my experience you don't need to know 100 arabic words before you start speaking, use what you have and then build on it. And there's no better time to start then today.

This coming term we will be having fun with animals.
This is one of the books we will be using in our story time to meet new animals.
This has been a household favourite for us. My kids love exploring different climates and searching through each page to see how many different animals they can name.

𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 ℙ𝕠𝕤𝕥
This term we have been preparing for Ramadan with this wonderful book:
"Ramadan around the world" -"رمضان حول العالم"
Each page visits a new country around the world and talks about some of the traditions you find around the world.
The stories have inspired each weekly craft we have been doing.
I love the diversity of this book, not only does it introduce different ethnicities and cultures but we have met children with, diabetes, autism and after meeting Bilal who is deaf, we used it as an oppurtunity to learn how to say "Alhamdulillah" in sign language.
I bought my copy from you can also find it in English along with many other books about Ramadan.
