Little Wonders Pre-School

The World Cup Kicks off today! To mark this celebration our parents have been creating their Home flags with their children! We are so lucky to have so many families from many different countries all around the world!

We have taken our children's interests and made them a reality! Quite a few of our children at Little Wonders were showing an interest in transport, especially boats. With the generous help of Brindley Cruises we were able to enhance the children's learning experience! We had so much fun learning about the history of the canals, sight seeing and even having a dance and sing along!

Yesterday at Little Wonders we celebrated International Dance Day. In the morning, we welcomed Augmented lifestyle CIC in to provide a Zumba class for the children! In the afternoon we turned our sensory room into a dance party! The children had so much fun throughout the day learning new moves and dancing to their favourite songs!

Our Garden has been made bigger! We are really excited about our extended garden! This part of the garden leads off Pre School 2s room which gives the children the opportunity to free flow between the room and the garden. Outdoor play is a vital part in enhancing children's development, and at Little Wonders both the staff and children love to explore the Wonders of the outdoors!

This week at Little Wonders we have been super busy, celebrating Earth Day and St Georges Day! The children have baked their very own blueberry muffins, decorated a globe, and have even been planting! They were then treated to a traditional snack of cream cheese and cucumber sandwiches and a Victoria Sponge Cake!

During the half term holiday we visited to purchase some new books for our pre school. Amazingly the organiser of this event donated us 12 boxes of children's books. These books have been shared across all of our pre schools. We would like to thank Stephen White Books for your generosity. This has enabled us to restock our Library and provide parents access to a larger range of books In our lending library!

Our book of the term is the Very Hungry Caterpillar . This book focuses on life cycles, sequences, and healthy eating. Follow us on our very own journey of the caterpillar life cycle, we currently 5 very hungry caterpillars that will turn into beautiful butterflies!

We had some wonderful creations for our Easter Garden event. The children were delighted to showcase what they had made at home!
