❄ The Children have been talking about Snow and Ice as the weather has started to change. They explored how the ice felt and what happens when the ice melts. The children helped to make their own icy 'North Pole' where the Polar Bears live. ❄

The children have started their letters to Santa. They have been looking through the toy magazines and discussing some of their ideas of what they'd like!💌

Busy Bee's have been learning about mini beasts and practising using their fine motor skills to catch the insects! 🐞

The Busy Bee's have been exploring the Dinosaur SWAMP! 🦖

Coming closer to Christmas, our Busy Bee's have been learning about the story behind the special holiday through the Nativity scene! ⭐

❄ As Winter approaches our Busy Bees have begun to talk about animals that live in the snow and in cold countries. This has opened up conversation about countries around the world, animal habitats and different ways to travel. ❄

🦕Our Bumble Bees interest at the moment is Dinosaurs. We've made a Dinosaur den filled with a range of different resources and textures. We expanded on their interest by doing dinosaur prints in paint and had a go at making our own Dinosaurs using Playdough. 🦖

🍓Our Honey Bees have been exploring Healthy Eating and have made their own Fruit smoothies using their own choice of fruit. We extended their activity by continuing to explore patterns and mark-making using fruits and vegetables. The children discussed the different colours and patterns they made on their paper. 🍉

💛 We had a fantastic time celebrating 'Children In Need'. The children and staff wore their best colourful and spotty outfits and had lots of fun activities to take part in throughout the day such as painting our own Pudsey bear, creating a Pudsey collage using different materials, and topped off with a disco to end the day! 🎼

Our preschool children have been learning about Similarities and Differences. The children have been using natural materials and playdough to create faces that they think best represents how they look. The children were very respectful of others differences and showed curiosity about different hair and eye colour. 😊

☕Our 'Parents Grab-and-Go' Breakfast has been a huge success over the past few weeks. It has been great being able to do something special for our Parents, as we understand that sometimes it's easy to forget about treating yourself.🍇
