South Birmingham Athletics Cup – Thursday 11th July
We took our athletics team (8 from each year) to the UoB track on Thursday to compete against all the other local secondary schools within South Birmingham. The meet is highly competitive, and our students traditionally do very well. As usual we were highly competitive and even though the overall results haven’t been published yet, we think we placed in the top two. Out of twenty track events, we received eleven 1st places (see picture for our medallists) and the rest came either 2nd or 3rd. The field events looked equally as strong with Milo, Jessica and Jayden throwing the three furthest throws out of everybody there. Well done to the team, we were very proud of you and look forward to next year.
