Today we welcomed our pupils back to collect their GCSE results!

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as they opened their results and celebrated their successes with friends, families, and staff.

Whatever the next step in their journey, we wish them every success for the future!

Despite the extreme heat, our pupils once again amazed us with their resilience, determination and energy as they crossed the finish line of this year’s Race for Life. Their enthusiasm and commitment made the event truly memorable, and we are thrilled to announce that, including Gift Aid, we have raised an incredible £17,096.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, cheered from the side lines and donated so generously. Together, we are making a real difference.

Some year 9 pupils participated in the HE Aspiration Programme at . They heard about how to get into university from an outreach worker from Oxford University. They also took part in sessions such as biomedicine, law/journalism and creative arts. Well done to Danielle who did costume design and performed in a trailer for a movie about zombies!

A group of year 10 pupils enjoyed a morning at .chg on Wednesday. They had a guided tour of the school by some sixth formers. Then experienced some actual A level lessons such as Biology, English, German and Economics. Then they had an opportunity to talk to the head of sixth form about applications to the sixth form.

This Thursday 9th July, KEVI NSG will be proudly exhibiting a diverse range of artwork, graphic design, photography and textile work produced by pupils and staff over the past year.
The exhibition will include work from our outgoing Year 11 students, alongside the powerful art installation of ceramic envelopes made by Year 9 for the 6888 exhibition earlier this year.
4-6pm in the main canteen.

Last night, a group of pupils attended a performance of Matilda the Musical at the Birmingham Hippodrome in preparation for next year's school production.

The show was outstanding and provided a wonderful source of inspiration for our budding performers. We were especially proud to receive compliments on our pupils' excellent manners and theatre etiquette throughout the evening.

Superb evening at the Year 11 Prom celebrating the end of five memorable years together. It was wonderful to see our pupils looking absolutely fabulous, dressed to impress and full of confidence as they marked this important milestone. We wish them every success and happiness as they move on to the next exciting chapter of their lives.

Year 9 STEM day for girls at British Motor Museum. A group of year 9 pupils participated in a range of interactive activities including designing their own model cars with safety devices and then tested then using a miniature crash test dummy. All girls were really engaged and took part in the wide range of events during the day.

We were delighted to kick off our first primary school visits with pupils from our local schools this week!
