We made our own shopping lists and visited the local shops to find the food we wanted. We all had so much fun filling up the trolley and putting our things on the checkout

We have enjoyed taking part in visits to our local library. We've enjoyed listening to stories and choosing some new books to take back to nursery and share with our friends

We have had lots of fun working together to create lots of new creations.

Today we have been cleaning our dinosaurs. 🦕🦖

As they scrub and rinse the dinosaurs, they're not only having a blast but also working on their dexterity and fine motor control. This activity cleverly combines playtime with skill development, making it an engaging and beneficial exercise for toddlers.

Back in July we had a beautify graduation ceremony for our children who will be moving onto school in September 2024. We still find it hard to believe that I little ones are going to start a new adventure. We wish them all the best and we know they will do well. 🥰

Today we have been enjoying a colour sorting activity.

Sorting different colours helps children to learn how to sequence, which indirectly prepares their little minds for Mathematics. Sorting coloured dinosaurs (or other objects) teaches children about order, colour identification, colour matching, and concentration.

Today we have been exploring an under the sea small world table.

Playing with small world play toys and props allows children to refine their fine motor skills. By playing with smaller toys, children are enhancing their hand-eye coordination, and strengthening the small muscles in their fingers and wrists.
