I went to check on our school planter today, now that we’ve broken up for the summer holidays, and it’s the first time I’ve seen it since our wonderful Friends of Shirley Park worked on it.
A huge thank you to Carl and Bri for all your hard work. The planter is looking healthy again! I could see the wood has been treated and the seats have been replaced, it really is looking fantastic.
Thank you as well to Wendie for kindly picking up more perennial plants for us. We really appreciate your generosity, especially as, sadly, our school plants have been stolen on so many occasions. It’s always so disheartening for the children when they come to Gardening Club or visit the planter and find things missing.
Your support means so much to us. It’s a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together, and that’s something you’re all incredibly good at.
Thank you for helping make our little corner of the community something to be proud of. 🌼💚

Learning goes far beyond the classroom at Kingswood School! 🌍✨
We believe some of the best lessons happen through experiences, exploration and making memories. From exciting educational visits and PGL residential trips to multi-sports events, Young Voices, Tennis and cricket experiences, our pupils embrace every opportunity with enthusiasm.
These experiences help build confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence while creating memories that will last a lifetime. We love giving our children the chance to discover new interests, challenge themselves and develop skills they simply can’t learn from a textbook.
At Kingswood School, every adventure is another opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

At Kingswood, we love celebrating the little moments that make childhood so special. 🎉 Birthdays are one of those occasions, and we enjoy making every child feel valued and celebrated. Whether it’s singing “Happy Birthday,” blowing out the candles, or simply sharing in their excitement, it’s a lovely way to create happy memories and make their day that little bit more special.
We also respect the wishes and beliefs of all our families, ensuring every child feels included, supported, and valued in a way that is right for them. 💛

Gardening Club is always full of smiles! 🌱😊
It’s wonderful to see how much everyone enjoys getting involved. Even better, they take their gardening projects home, where they can continue to nurture and watch them grow. 🪴
