🐌💚 Caring for living things is an important part of learning! 💚🐌

Today, one of our little learners took great pride in helping to clean and care for our Giant African Land Snails. With gentle hands and lots of curiosity, they helped make sure our snail friends had a clean, comfortable home.

Through experiences like this, children develop empathy, responsibility, and respect for living creatures while learning about the importance of caring for animals. These meaningful moments help nurture kindness, confidence, and a sense of responsibility from an early age.

The sweetest moment of all? Once everything was finished, our little helper smiled, waved, and said, "Goodnight!" to the snails before leaving them to settle into their freshly cleaned home. 🥹🐌💚

Sometimes it's the smallest moments that leave the biggest impression.

🔢🌈 Learning through play is always more fun! 🌈🔢

Our little learners have been busy developing their maths skills with this exciting colour-by-number activity! Using the colour key, the children searched for numbers 1–10 and carefully matched each number to the correct colour.

This engaging activity supports number recognition, colour recognition, concentration, and problem-solving, while also strengthening pencil control and fine motor skills. As the children worked together, they practised taking turns, communicating with their friends, and celebrating each other's achievements.

Simple activities like these help build confidence with numbers in a fun, hands-on way, showing that learning can be both exciting and rewarding!

🐱 National Cat Day 🐱

Today we celebrated National Cat Day with a range of fun and engaging activities!

The children had a wonderful time making their own cats, choosing their favourite colours and exploring colour mixing to create unique designs. They enjoyed expressing their creativity while learning how different colours can be combined to make new ones.

We also had lots of lovely discussions about cats—sharing stories about pets at home, talking about cats we might see outside, and thinking about how we can be kind and gentle with animals.

It was a fun-filled day of creativity, conversation, and learning! 💛🐾

☀️💦 Outdoor adventures are the best adventures! 💦☀️

Our little learners have been making the most of the sunshine by exploring, splashing, and discovering through outdoor play! From cooling off in the swimming pool to enjoying exciting water play activities, every moment is filled with laughter, learning, and fun.

As well as having a wonderful time, our pre-school are developing important life skills. Through carefully planned activities, they are learning about water safety, understanding simple risks, and building confidence in making safe choices. With close supervision and age-appropriate risk assessments, we create opportunities for children to explore, challenge themselves, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Outdoor play encourages physical development, problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and resilience—all while creating memories that make childhood so special.

One of our little learners wowed us with their fantastic number skills recently! 🎉 They confidently pointed to each number from 1–10, named them all, and then matched every number card to the correct numeral. 👏✨

We'd love to encourage our families to stay connected and get involved in the fantastic events happening at our local community centre this summer. From coffee mornings, adults bingo, children's disco's, brunches and an exciting summer fete and community celebrations, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Taking part in local events is a wonderful way for children to explore, play, build confidence, and strengthen their sense of belonging in the community.

Keep an eye on the community centre's summer programme and join in whenever you can—we hope to see lots of familiar faces enjoying the fun together!

🎓✨ Our Little Graduates Are Ready to Fly! ✨🎓

Today, we celebrated a truly special milestone as we said goodbye to our wonderful preschool graduates. 💛

It has been an absolute privilege to watch these incredible children grow with confidence, curiosity, kindness, and laughter. From their very first days through every story, song, painting, friendship, and adventure, they have filled our preschool with so much joy.

As they take their next exciting step into primary school, we couldn't be prouder of everything they have achieved. While it's hard to say goodbye, we know they are ready to spread their wings and shine brightly wherever they go.

🚨👏 **Fire Drill Success!** 👏🚨

Safety always comes first! July's fire drill saw our nursery team and children complete a successful fire evacuation in an impressive 1 minute and 59 seconds! ⏱️⭐

With 21 amazing children and 12 dedicated adults, everyone remained calm, listened carefully and followed our evacuation procedures brilliantly. We're so proud of how confidently our little learners took part and how wonderfully our team supported them every step of the way. 💚

Regular fire drills help us ensure that everyone knows exactly what to do, keeping our nursery a safe and secure place to learn, play and grow. Well done, everyone! 🌟🔥
