May Allah grant us useful knowledge. We wish our beloved students all the best, we hope to see you soon in November to celebrate all your success and we ask that Allah blesses you.
Please remember all the lessons learnt, friends made, and all the great memories and moments.
Remember, that education is more than grades and certificates, it is about lifelong learning, collaboration, problem-solving, resilience, and developing good character, which is heaviest on the scale on the day of judgment.
Go out into the world as proud Muslimas and HKKG students and leave a mark on the world.
We expect great things from you all.
Fundraising at HKKGS. An unusual non-uniform day. Students dressed and pretended to be teachers and teachers impersonated students. We have seen some creative and spot on impersonations. Mrs Akhtar went all out with full outfit including school bag and accessories, students paid attention to the details with clothing and accessories and even the senior leaders joined in with realistic add on, including hijab styles. All good fun for a great cause. One student even made her own staff lanyard and is card.
A blessed Eid greetings from HKKGS trustees and staff.
Eid greetings from Year 7
Students made Eid cards, with greetings in Arabic to their families and loved ones.
Mrs Abou Hatab
Alhamdullilah. Our school won the Religious Education award. We accept this award on behalf of every student, parent, donor, supporter, teacher and leader who ever contributed towards its success.
Open evening @ HKKGS. It was great welcoming prospective parents and students, with hands on experiments, Art sessions and exposing our young guests to historical and philosophical questions.
We are truly proud of our student ambassadors who delivered speeches and workshops.
We hope to welcome our visitors back as students in the new academic year.
Our next open morning is on the 12th June.
NHS community research project - Touch Point 1
A big thanks to the engaging and wonderful clinicians, Jenna and Sandra. Our students were so engaged and discussed their research questions with such maturity and insight. It was a pleasure having you both and we are looking forward to welcoming you back soon to share student data analysis and experiences.
Thank you Amy and Jack for facilitating this wonderful project.
Well done, girls.
World Maths Day
What a fun and creative way of exploring key vocabulary, geometry, rotation and symmetry through Origami.
A big thank you to Mrs Afsheen for her hard work and engaging activities during the busy last days of term.
What an amazing night! Our students were the perfect hosts, looking after our guests, entertaining the young children with art and crafts activities, and feeding 200 people. The school was transformed with the help of our selfless students and parent volunteers.
It is heart-warming and humbling to be surrounded by such amazing HKKGS community members.
Well done to all our behind-the-scenes decorators, event organisers and bakers.
Well done to Maryam Y for her beautiful recitation, Inayatullah for her 5 Tips for Ramadan talk and Aminah for her duaas that brought us to tears.
House Ruqayaah, you must be mind readers, because you were on fire during the charade.
May Allah guide us to that which he loves and to make the most of these coming days and nights.
We are finalists!

Birmingham NHS Academy Development with Key Educators/Supportive NHS colleagues
An amazing event and project bringing education and NHS staff to collaborate and develop links, strategies and discuss innovative initiatives.
Our head, Ms Jihar gave a brief talk at the event, sharing her experiences, the needs of secondary schools, in particular the challenges faced by independent schools, and suggestions and ideas for future developments and collaborations.
Our school will be working closely with the NHS, starting this half term with a visit to the women's hospital and following it up with community research projects co-produced with our enthusiastic students, inshallah.
A big thank you to Amy for facilitating the event and Ruth university engineering Academy for their hospitality.
