Just search for the book you want, click request and select the library you'd like to collect it from. You'll receive an email once your reserved item is available.

The Arts, Design & Media Archives at Birmingham City University hosts a satellite collection of the National Jazz Archive, comprising English and foreign language jazz journals, books, posters, flyers, personal collections from Kate & Mike Westbrook, Charles Fox, and more. This partnership between BCU and the NJA seeks to stimulate debate about the history and significance of jazz in the UK and beyond, aiming to produce a vibrant 'living archive' anchored in the local community.

The NJA Satellite Collection at BCU can be found in the Parkside Building, ground floor room P037. It is available to all BCU and RBC staff and students. E-mail [email protected] to book a viewing appointment. We look forward to welcoming you!

Today we're celebrating Mary Seacole, the pioneering nurse who treated wounded soldiers on the frontline of the Crimean War. Her energy and bravery has inspired future generations and the Mary Seacole Library is named in honour of her.
