Steak Recipe (Inspired by the Plate)
1. Perfect Pan-Seared or Grilled Steak
Serves one
Ingredients
β’ 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (2β3 cm thick)
β’ Salt & freshly cracked black pepper
β’ 1 tbsp olive oil
β’ 2 tbsp butter
β’ 2 cloves garlic, smashed
β’ 1 sprig rosemary or thyme
Method
1. Remove steaks from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking. Pat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
2. Heat a heavy pan or grill on high until very hot. Add olive oil.
3. Sear steaks for 2β3 minutes per side (medium-rare), adjusting time to your preferred doneness.
4. Add butter, garlic, and herbs. Baste continuously for 30β60 seconds.
5. Rest steaks for 5 minutes before serving.

Starters: Shanghai Chicken Wings, which just tastes perfect. Crispy on the outside and succulent and tender meat on the inside. The special sauce used on these chicken wings just fires it all off π₯π₯
Main: βThe Burgeβ one of the best Burgers I have had and for its price cannot go wrong!! 6oz of Angus beef seasoned lightly with crispy chicken breast dipped into some special spicy sauce melted with some American cheese, topped with some Turkish Rashers, some gherkins and served in a toasted brioche bun. π₯
