this is just a little personal invite from me to you.

This space is for women who want to feel more confident in their body, stop overthinking movement, and just feel more comfortable expressing themselves.

You don’t need dance experience.

Just show up as you are.

On 27 June, I’ll be guiding a small group through grounding Kizomba movement step by step.

Two complete beginners.

One spontaneous moment.

And within minutes… they were moving, laughing, and relaxing into Kizomba Flow.

This is what I love most about teaching Kizomba flow & movement 

It doesn’t require experience.

It just asks you to show up.

To try.

To move.

And your body does the rest.

None of these ladies had ever tried Kizomba before.

After just one Kizomba Flow session, they were feeling more relaxed, enjoying the music, and wanting more.

That’s the beauty of Kizomba Flow.

Simple movements, great music, and a chance to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy being present in your body.

Have you ever seen Kizomba at a wellness festival?

This year, I had the opportunity to bring Kizomba Flow to One Retreat Birmingham.

A solo movement experience inspired by Kizomba that helps you reconnect with your body, move with confidence, and express yourself  through dance &movement.

From meeting festival-goers and introducing them to Kizomba for the very first time, to facilitating my session on the lawn surrounded by nature, it was amazing to see people connect through movement.

Even the rain couldn’t stop us.

Kizomba can and does go beyond the social dance scene and introducing this beautiful dance and movement practice to wider communities who may never have experienced it before is what I love doing.

Because movement isn’t just exercise.

It can be confidence.
It can be connection.
It can be self-expression.
It can be wellness.

And this is just the beginning.

Do you ever notice yourself making your movements smaller?

Holding back your expression.
Keeping your energy contained.
Trying not to take up too much space.

Many of us do it without even realising.

So here’s something to experiment with:

Take one movement and make it bigger.

Sink a little deeper into the ground.
Allow your body to take up more space.
Let your hands move more freely.
Place a hand on your body if it helps you feel safe and connected.

Notice what comes up.

Does it feel uncomfortable?
Empowering?
Vulnerable?

Because sometimes confidence isn’t about becoming more.

It’s about giving yourself permission to express more of what’s already there.
