We cannot believe all our Sorcerers children will be started big school this week. We hope you all have a fantastic first week!

Magic Moments would like to say a huge thank you for all the presents and gifts we have received over the past few weeks.

It has been a pleasure being part of your children's Early Years journey.

Staff Shout August 2026

This month we would like to give a shout out to Paige!

Paige has worked at Magic Moments for two and half years after previously working for us back in 2019. Paige holds a Level 3 childcare qualification and has several years’ experience supporting children in preschool.

Paige is confident, hardworking, and very efficient in her role.
Paige has a very positive attitude, always has a smile on her face, brighten the workplace with her great sense of humour, and never failing to make everyone laugh.

Thank you for being a fantastic member of the team!

Magic Moments would like to say thank you to everyone who attended Sorcerers graduation last night.

It was a lovely evening, the children did so well, and it was great to see everyone having so much fun!

The children have grown so much in their journey at Magic Moments, and we know the team will miss them dearly.

Management would like to take this opportunity to say a HUGE well done to the Magic Moments staff team for working so hard and making the event enjoyable and memorable for everyone.

We wish all the children and their families all the best for the future, and we are looking forward to seeing photos from big school.

Betka has worked at Magic Moments for nearly 8 years and holds a level 3 childcare qualification.

Betka has a kind caring nature, very reliable and is a hard working dedicated member of the team. Betka has been excellent in supporting Merlins children prepare for Sorcerers for several years.

Betka always puts the children’s best interests first and goes above and beyond to ensure any task is completely thoroughly.

Are you an experienced team leader looking for a new challenge? Are you a Nursery Nurse looking to take the next step in your career?

Magic Moments are looking for a Senior Nursery nurse/ Team leader to join our team in Barnt Green. Ideally for Preschool age group.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners
-Plan and deliver engaging early years activities in line with the EYFS framework
-Ensure a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children
- Monitor children’s progress and maintain accurate records
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers
- Support staff development and progress
-Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Requirements
• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or above)
• Previous nursery experience, ideally in a senior or room leader role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
• Experience supporting children with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
• Ideally looking for a working pattern of 4/5 days, hours and days are negotiable

This month we would like to give a shout out to Nita!

Nita has worked at Magic Moments as the Nursery Housekeeper for nearly 9 years. Over the past few years Nita has also helped with the nursery accounts. Most recently, During Lydia Maternity leave, Nita has helped the management team with nursery admin.

Nita provides high standards of cleaning with an attention to detail ensuring a clean safe environment for everyone.

Nita has built in confidence and learned new skills quickly in the admin role. Nita is organised, very efficient and has a positive, productive attitude.

So, a HUGE well done to Nita.

This month we would like to give a shout out to Breen!
Breen worked at Magic Moments back in 2019 and returned back to Nursery two and half years ago. Breen holds a level 3 childcare qualification and has experience working with all age groups.

Breen is an excellent practitioner with a kind caring nature. Breen is always willing to offer a helping hand, and the children’s best interest is always at the heart of everything she does.
