Staff Shout out July 2025.

This month we would like to give a shout out to Paige!

Paige returned to nursery in March last year after working at Magic Moments back in 2018 after travelling and having a family of her own. Paige holds a Level 3 childcare qualification and has experience working with all age groups.

Paige is very confident and has excellent communication skills with both parents and team members. Paige is very organised and efficient when completing tasks within her job role.

Paige is very focused on working with preschool children and preparing children for the transition to school.

So, a HUGE well done to Paige!

Over the past few weeks Wizards and Mini Merlin’s have been developing their fine motor skills with lots of different sensory activities!

This week Elves have been exploring a 'going on a bear hunt' themed sensory tray! 🐻

Last week baby chicks came to visit nursery. The children learned about the life cycle of a chick and got to hold the chicks to!

This week Elves and Pixies have been developing their fine motor skills free painting, exploring playdough and posting objects into the correct box.

Wizards and Mini Merlin’s have been learning all about insects and bugs with a bug colour sorting activity and a bug hunt messy tray.

Merlin’s have been continuing the life cycle of a frog visiting the Forest school pond to see a real life frog.

Sorcerers have been testing their Maths skills with a challenge of Maths bingo!

Staff Shout out June 2025.

This month we would like to give a shout out to Becky!
Becky joined Magic Moments 12 months ago permanently after working with us for a few months through agency. Becky holds a Level 3 childcare qualification and is due to finish her Level 5 Early years practitioner lead in a few weeks.

Becky has a grown in confidence since joining us and has a very nurturing and positive attitude. She supports the Pixies team with planning fun age-appropriate activities and is building relationships well with both Children and Parents.

So, a HUGE well done to Becky!

Last week the Merlins have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly.
They enjoyed listening to the story The Hungry Caterpilla and then coloring in there own butterflies using coloured crayons and making there own butterfly gardens using paper plates, pasta and glue.
This week they are looking at the life cycle of a frog.
