Little Smarties Academy (Rocky Lane) celebrated Mother’s Day. Celebrating Mother's Day was is a great opportunity to help children express their love and appreciation for their mothers/aunties/grandmothers.

Little Smarties Academy (Rocky Lane) made trolls to use as props when reading tge Three Billy Goats 🐐 Gruff. The children are provided with the resources and encouraged to use their own imagination and skills to create a troll 🧌.

Little Smarties Academy (Rocky Lane) The Little Red Hen was the book for this week the children🧒 took part in a variety of activities from mark making to being creative to counting out how many eggs 🥚 the little hen lay.

Little Smarties Academy (Rocky Lane) started to understand concepts of weight and measurement and began to predict what will happen at each stage of making the bread and then the butter process.
The final result was fresh bread and soup for tea. 😋

Little Smarties Academy (Hamstead Road) this activity was a positive approach to match making it fun to explore using dinosaur 🦖 which was apart of the children’s intrest this week. We introduced new vocabulary such as more/less and add/takeaway.

Little Smarties Academy (Rocky Lane) let’s pick our favourite song 🎶. This is giving the children a choice and a voice. We have found that the children have developed so much confidence and enjoy adding musical instruments 🥁 to the song introducing a beat.
