❄️Winter Fun❄️

Last Month we were learning about Winter❄

The practitioners provided the experience of playing with snow using a variety of recources for our children.

Children were able to use their senses and explore the sensory winter trays while learning about the weather and keeping warm.
we created different opportunities using sensory and natural resources to enhance their fine motor skills while play with small world toys.

We take pride in providing new experiences whilst keeping Children's Interest in mind.

Bonfire 🎆
Children have created bonfire scenes on white paper using orange and yellow paint and different resources to mimic flames.
Children engaged in various different activities to celebrate bonfire.
Staff encouraged language by speaking to children about the colors, shapes, and bonfire night experiences enhances their vocabulary skills. Additionally painting and creating bonfire scenes allowed children to express their ideas and feelings through art. Moreover, staff talked about bonfire night traditions and safety teaches children about cultural events and how to stay safe.

🍂Autumn Walk 🍂

The children were able to go on their autumn walk to collect natural resources so that they could talk about what they found later on.

The practitioners created a sensory tuff tray to allow the children to talk about the natural resources that they were playing with and have collected at the park.

Children were able to develop their mathematical and literacy skills while talking about all the things they have seen on their way, which enables them to learn about their surroundings.

🌎Climate Change 🌎
Little Earth savers in action! Toddlers created their own Earths using green and blue water paint, symbolizing our planet's beauty. With paintbrushes and syringes, they explored different textures and techniques, bringing their Earths to life. Through discussion and art, they learned about the importance of protecting our planet and explored how waste in water impacts climate change, fostering early awareness and eco-friendly values. 🌍

Our children to explore textures as they observe the changes of different colours whilst creating mark with leafs. Developing their small motor skills and their dominant hand preferences. Allowing children to have an open conversations as they share their own personal experiences about nature and their likes/dislikes on the different colours.

Practitioners allowing our children to explore their imaginative skills through the curiosity approach as they make their very own Autumn soup, gaining first hand experience from the resources they gathered from the nature walk.

Our babies having lots of fun getting messy as they explore the different natural resources, developing their small motor skills and sharing skills from a very young as the practitioner closely supervise the babies and talk about sharing with them.

Encouraging babies to repeats words alongside practitioner or form two word sentences.Children were able to exploure autumn resources while using single words.
