Broadway Academy Sixth Form
Supporting our students from first class to world class
Broadway Academy Sixth Form is a large and thriving community that welcomes students from across the city. We fully understand the demands of Post 16 education and recognise that the most successful students combine outstanding academic performance with a depth of experiences from the world around them. We offer ou

r students the opportunity to develop both areas. There is an excellent pastoral team in place that works closely with students to support and offer guidance on key Sixth Form matters. Our UCAS support is thorough and we have built fantastic links with local Universities, businesses and apprenticeship providers. Enrichment
Why is enrichment important? It’s what separates you from the rest! It can make your CV stand out or your UCAS application go to the top of the pile. This is why we make sure that Broadway students access a comprehensive Enrichment programme. Our programme runs over 2 years and allows students to work on Duke of Edinburgh Silver award, enterprise initiatives, social action, product design and sports leadership level 1. This year, as part of our enrichment programme we will be raising money to support a small village school in Cambodia. Some students will have the opportunity to visit the school and teach some of the children. As well as this, students will have the opportunity to be involved in mentoring and volunteering. We have a number of sporting fixtures throughout the year and provide opportunities to travel abroad. All students do an employability programme and are encouraged to work with students in the lower years. All students also study the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in year 12 this is a highly desirable qualification that can be based around future career choices or areas of interest. Successful completion of the EPQ has led to our student’s receiving reduced offers from top universities and being interviewed at Oxford and Cambridge. Our curriculum:
