Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery Edgbaston Established in Edgbaston in 2000 we pride ourselves in offering a happy environment where everyone is respected and valued.

The nursery is managed by a highly qualified independent owner who has over 25 years experience together with a professional, friendly and dedicated team. We recognise that staff learning, training and development is crucial to providing quality child care. We have created a staff learning community whereby staff obtain relevant professional qualifications and cascade their knowledge down through

the team. We are extremely proud to have consistent members of staff who have been employed with us for many years and are parents themselves so can empathise and identify with the challenges of parenting. We appreciate that it is vital to maintain high staff working conditions to sustain a contended team and happy environment for all setting users. All children at Cheeky Monkeys are valued as individuals and given opportunities to voice their thoughts and ideas and develop their own identify. We believe that developing caring relationships with each child in our care is crucial as this enables the child to feel cared for, safe and secure and therefore ready to learn. Our role is to support parents and carers in building the foundations for life by assisting them in developing their child’s self-confidence, social skills and emotional intelligence. We nurture their enquiring minds through exploration, investigation and discovery and encourage their creativity, imagination and ingenuity. Our fantastic garden offers opportunities for children to experience nature and be active participants in their own environment. The children gain ownership of their natural world which enhances independence, self-assurance and builds fellowship within the Cheeky Monkeys Community.
