Set in Bingley town centre and established in 2010, Bingley Music School is family orientated and one of the best places in the Bradford area to learn music.

Bingley Music School is currently offering lessons in Guitar, Bass, Piano, Keyboard, Vocals and Music Theory. Small group or individual lessons available to all playing abilities, each tailored to provide students with the correct tools for learning their instrument. Stuart Partridge (Guitar and Theory Tutor - Beginner to Advanced)

Stu has been teaching guitar and playing music professionally since 2007. He has previously taught at Yamaha Music School and Wesborough High School and started Bingley Music School alongside his then partner Warren Fyffe. He was fortunate enough to receive lessons from Kes Loy, Darren Dutson-Bromley and Tom Quayle. Starting at 10 , playing in many groups and learning various styles. He plays in the ever busy violin, vocal and guitar trio - Live Lounge who he has twice helped to win awards at a national level. Ruth Nielson (Piano, Keyboard, Vocals - Beginner to Advanced)

Ruth joined Bingley Music School in October 2018. She has taught professionally since Sept 2016 where she set up her own piano teaching and later expanded to include singing teaching. She teaches all ages and encourages a passion for music in her students. She has also worked at Yorkshire Music School. Ruth completed her Degree in Jazz Studies at Leeds College of Music in 2008 and is experienced in many styles. She performs regularly as a solo piano vocalist and played in various groups and duos over the years. She is starting to write her own music again and experienced in composition and improvisation. Scott Bakes (Drums - Beginner to Advanced)

Passionate drum tutor, fluent in Metal, Rock and Funk drumming. After studying Music at Bradford College, he has spent the last 20 years mastering his craft, playing predominantly in Metal Bands. After deciding it would be more benificial to focus my energy on teaching drums. He began tutoring at Bingley Music School in late 2021

Daisy Wardle (Vocals -Beginner to Advanced/Piano and Guitar - Beginner to Advanced)

Daisy is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Leeds. Since moving to the city in 2016, she has gigged at some of the city's most renowned venues including Brudenell Social Club and Headrow House, and had her music played on BBC introducing West Yorkshire. Daisy graduated from Leeds conservatoire with a BA in popular music in 2019 and is currently studying on the MA creative Musicianship course. She has over five years experience in teaching singing, piano and guitar an is confident working in a range of styles, from pop to classical to jazz. Mason Hirst (Piano - Beginner to Advanced)

Mason began studying the piano at a later age than most, 15. He worked through the ABRSM grades and completed Grade 8 in 3 years, just before coming to study at Leeds Conservatoire (Previously known as Leeds College of Music). During his time at the conservatoire, Mason has been involved with a wide range of ensembles from Orchestras, Wind Bands, Operas, Musicals and many more. In 2019 he took over the LCSU Camerata conducting in venues such as Leeds Town Hall and Clothworkers Centenary Hall. Under the tutelage of Jakob Fichert and Jonathan Gooing, Mason regularly performs both as a soloist and as an accompanist. Learning from two different tutors has given him a lot of experience in different teaching styles and the ability to adapt to any student. Mason has a strong interest in education and teaching the next generation of musicians as learning music is vital for younger students to develop their own personality and confidence.

We are offering a limited amount of free taster sessions for all instruments (Usually £10) for two weeks starting Monday the 17th of August.

If you're interested in booking for Drums, Piano/Keys or Guitar/Bass/Ukulele get in touch ASAP, slots will be limited to one per person and will be booked on a first come first serve basis, so book quickly to avoid disappointment.

All ages and abilities welcome, cute dogs encouraged.

Following on from the success of our May workshops, we are now taking bookings for our Summer Drum Workshops.

We will be running two, one aimed at beginners and one aimed at students with a bit of experience.

We already have some bookings and there are limited space so do book quickly to avoid disappointment.

The FUN-damentals of drumming workshop:

5 day workshop running Monday to Friday, 11am -12.30pm (27th-31st of July)

Aimed at 7-12 year olds.

Rudi-MENTAL Rhythms workshop:

5 day workshop running Monday to Friday, 11am -12.30pm (17th-21st) August

Aimed at 8-15 year olds.

Learn more advanced sticking patterns
Funky rudiments and how to applly them to a kit
Creating beats with rudiments
Timekeeping with rudiments
Stick techniques
Applied tom rudiments

May half term Drum Workshop

Have a child between 7-12 years old that wants to get to grips with the fundamentals of drums, particularly snare techniques, sticking patterns and understanding rhythms and groove.

We are running drum workshops over half term Wednesday to Friday both weeks at 1pm. £33 per week.

I was supposed to post about the free lessons again today but this had me crying like the first time I watched Marley and Me all over again so here ya go.

Jude is in his 20s now, a full grown wonderful person! I can honestly say it's been an honour watching this fine fellow develop into a fantastic young man who is a great guitar player and now running his own business as a Jeweller (check out )

I can not state enough how grateful I am to everyone who has supported us over the years but stuff like this is insane to me. I pride myself on not relying on using grades/syllabuses as a retention device, I've seen far too many teachers lean on them for content and to keep student's coming back year after year. I like to think that my students come back because they enjoy it and like the variation of learning I'm proud to say is a real focus here at Bingley Music School.

WE TRULY LOVE OUR JOBS HERE! Thank you so much to everyone who sees that and continues to support us.
