My name is Kelsey and I am offering online tutoring sessions for £10 an hour during the summer whilst I build up tutoring experience. These will be over Zoom, Skype or Facetime depending on which is the most convenient. I can help with KS3 concepts and GCSE English, Physics, History, Maths and Geography, as well as A-Level History and Geography. I am able to meet in person in Bingham for the first sessions if it makes your child feel more comfortable and to set up a tutoring plan. However, there is no pressure to commit to a specific number of sessions, so we can just plan week by week. In my sessions, I will provide extra resources and/or homemade revision cards for the child to keep and use in the future.
I can understand how difficult it is to home-school primary age children whilst working from home, so I am available to support them in completing any assignments. I’m here to help!
About me
I have just finished my first year studying Geography at the University of Manchester. Attending Toot Hill School, I achieved 9’s/A*’s in GCSE English Language, English Literature, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Art, PE, History and Geography. At college, I obtained A* in A-Level History and Geography. I also got B at A-Level Physics so am confident in teaching the subject at GCSE and below. For the last year, I have been working as a swimming teacher in Manchester, having previously been CABSC swimming Club Captain, and am DBS checked, so I have extensive experience working with children. I won the Head Teacher’s Award at Toot Hill and was the Vice President of the college Student Union, meaning I am familiar with the teaching style of the trust.
