Praying for all receiving exam results today 🙏

As exam results are received tomorrow, we hold in prayer every person who is waiting to discover what the day will bring.

We pray for those who will celebrate and for those who may feel disappointed. We pray for their families, teachers and all who have encouraged and supported them along the way.

Above all, we pray that every person receiving results remembers that no grade or mark can ever measure their true worth. Their value comes from being loved by God, and tomorrow's results are only one moment in a much greater journey.

May Christ guide their next steps, give them peace in whatever tomorrow brings, and remind them that they never walk alone.

We pray for them all. May God bless them, encourage them and hold them close. Amen.

We pray for all those receiving results in the coming days. 🙏

As many young people prepare to receive A Level and other examination results, we hold them all in our prayers — especially the students of our parish senior school, St Thomas More Catholic School, Willenhall. 🙏

Tomorrow will bring joy and celebration for many, while for others it may bring disappointment, uncertainty or simply a need for time to reflect.

Whatever the results may be, they do not define a young person’s worth, gifts or future.

As one faith family, we rejoice with those who rejoice and stand alongside those who may need encouragement and hope.

May every young person know that they are loved, valued and held in God’s hands.

May we all continue to be guided by Christ, inspired to serve and aspire for excellence, remembering always that we are called to be God’s servant first.

Please join us in praying for all receiving results, their families, teachers and school communities.

Look to the skies!

On Wednesday 12 August, we have a wonderful opportunity to pause and marvel at the beauty and wonder of God’s creation as a partial solar eclipse passes over Walsall and Wolverhampton.

The eclipse begins at 6:15pm, reaches its maximum at 7:11pm, and ends around 8:05pm, with about 91.8% of the Sun obscured.

Find a clear view towards the West-Northwest, away from buildings and trees, and please remember to use certified solar eclipse glasses at all times when looking towards the Sun.
