Some children find going to sleep (or staying asleep) difficult. We have received this in school and are sharing it for those parents who feel they need some help in this area, as many do from time to time.
Thank you and very well done to all of our children in Mass this morning. They reminded us that St John Henry Newman wrote we all have a mission. What is your God-given mission? The children gave us lots of ideas!
The Mini Vinnies have met for the first time this year - they are looking forwards to planning their fun afternoon for Harvest! Congratulations to Mariyaah our new chairperson, Lily the Vice Chair and Sienna our secretary.
Here are some photos from our friends from KS2,1 and Early Years who paid their respects to the late Queen in Hyde Park last Sunday. After a super walk from Buckingham Palace to the Wellington Arch, they all laid flowers to honour the Queen’s memory. A day to remember all your lives children! Thank you for sharing
A great afternoon in store. The Season of Creation has been a theme for the children this term, next Sunday afternoon promises lots of free family fun to bring the season to a close. Why not drop in and enjoy one of the many activities - we’d love to hear what the children get up to!
God give eternal rest to our late Sovereign Queen Elizabeth and may He raise her to new life in His eternal glory. Amen
The children of Y2-6, with some of their young friends from Y1, laid flowers on behalf of EYFS, KS1 and KS2 at the Garden of Remembrance yesterday in honour and memory of our late Queen. Thank you to Gabriella, Tehillah, Toby and Alexandra who led the service and those who laid the tributes. Every child present a credit to their school and families.
A great workshop. Well done everyone.
Lovely to have the children from across our parish who are on their journey to First Holy Communion together again for their second workshop.
Young people having fun whilst learning more about their faith.
Many thanks to staff and catechists for their support as always
A great opportunity for Y6 parents and children to visit one of our parish partner schools. Remember though, it’s an Open Evening and those parents in Y4 and 5 can also be looking forward and visiting schools today. Click to enlarge if needed.
Everyone is welcome for a short reflection and silence.
Please click the image for details. Thank you.
A Life of Service we give thanks to God for.
Eternal rest, give unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
Our children have prayed for Her Majesty the Queen tonight. Hold her in your prayers, as we will in school, and ask God our Father to strengthen and sustain her.
Attached are previews of the Parent Academic Year Planner across all three of the forthcoming terms. They will be emailed out from the office tomorrow. Please click on the photograph for the full view.
Please share if you think someone may be interested. Thank you.
On Thursday Wolverhampton will proudly host the Commonwealth Games Cycling Time Trial. Every one of the riders learned to ride, persevered and are now representing their countries. The first of our young lions here from KS1, in our Sporting Superstar Week, is leading the way. Here he is, mastering riding his bike over the holidays- well done to him!
wish lots of luck to our - their determination and commitment are a great inspiration to our children to be more! Congratulations!

It’s wonderful to see another of our young friends in KS2, who is rightly very proud of his sporting skills and achievements. He has been both his team’s captain for some time now and, at his recent presentation evening, was chosen as coaches’ player of the season! A super achievement that we are all proud of too. Well done!
There is no end to the talents of the Holy Trinity family! A few weeks back one of our friends in Y4 had his Club’s football presentation where he was recognised as the Baller of the Year for his natural talent, the Parents’ Player of the year and Players’ Player. You can’t get much better than that!
His home family are very proud of him and his school family are too. Well done - a great use of your natural gifts ⚽️⚽️⚽️
Father Craig reminded us that the end is only the start of a new beginning in our fantastic final Mass of the school year. We wish all of our children and families a safe and happy holiday. Father helped us to see the word END in FRIEND, work hard at being a good friend this holiday. We find END in MEND- use the holidays to mend any broken friendships. We find END in ASCEND. How will you prepare for moving up to your new class? Have lots of fun and friENDship and we will see you all, God willing, in September. ❤️
Good morning Y6 parents and carers! Remember how little their hand was the day you first walked them to primary school? Today’s the day…❤️
Many congratulations and blessings to our Y6 children, our young people at St Thomas More Catholic School, Willenhall and young parishioners who were Confirmed tonight by Bishop Stephen. Breathe in the Spirit and let it work in your hearts for the rest of your lives. 🕊🕊🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Our lovely Year 6 children shared their Leavers’ Mass together today- a very special occasion! Here they are relaxing in Blackpool on their reward visit earlier this week. Today, they stood proudly before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and thought about how to stay close to God for the rest of their lives. We pray they will. ❤️
On Tuesday Y5 joined with St Thomas More for a spiritual retreat exploring the work of the Holy Spirit, looking at the influence of Holy Spirit on significant people and reflecting on the qualities they and the Holy Spirit share. They produced some fabulous artwork and staff were impressed with the articulate answers our children provided, the reverence they showed and their amazing singing during the reflection service. Look in the Retreat Day album to see more photographs. Well done Y5!
Year 6 are holding a raffle this week and the main prize is a pair of Galaxy Buds2 that retail at £139.00! If you want to be in with a chance of winning, tickets are £1 for a strip of 5. Please send your child into school with the money. Year 6 will also be selling tickets during parents’ evening (between 2 and 3.25 pm). Good luck!
We hope parents find this useful.
What Parents Need to Know about Discord
Discord is a free app which allows users to communicate in real time via text, video or voice chat. Available on desktop and mobile devices, it was originally designed to help gamers cooperate – but has evolved into a more general networking platform for a range of online communities, discussing topics like TV series, music, Web3 and more. Discord is organised around closed groups, referred to as ‘servers’. To join a server, users must be invited or provided with a unique link. It’s a space for users to interact with friends, meet others with shared interests and collaborate in private online — but it’s also a place where young people can be exposed to risks if the right precautions aren’t taken.
In the guide, you’ll find tips on a number of potential risks such as cyberbullying, predators and inappropriate contentWe hope parents find this usefu
Childcare offers for parents
Over a million families in the UK are entitled to support with the costs of childcare from the government, but many don’t realise that they’re eligible. By utilising the different offers, parents and carers with children aged 0–16 could get financial support worth thousands of pounds.
Along with the usual types of childcare (e.g. childminders and nurseries) the support packages can be used across many different types of providers, such as:
Holiday activity clubs
School wraparound care
Extracurricular clubs such and sports, drama, and music tuition
Religious settings, i.e. Jewish yeshivas and chedarim, Muslim madrassahs and Christian Sunday schools

Many congratulations to our young dancers in the World Competition who have helped the English team come fourth! What a fantastic achievement for children in KS1. We are all very proud of you both. 🏆🏆🏆🏆
on tour again, this time, 24 Y6 children are our ambassadors at the Bilston Games 2022. Every one of them did fantastically well, in fact, it’s not often you see the 1st, 2nd and 3rd podium places taken by one team! Many thanks to our hosts Ormiston SWB Academy for their great organisation, especially the young Sports Leaders who were a credit to their school.
Good luck to our girls who fly out to San Sebastian today to represent England in the Dance World Cup. Here they are, sharing the squad kit. Good luck girls, you have done so well just to make it to Spain. We are very proud of you both and looking forward to hearing all about your great experiences. Go ⭐️⭐️
The children of the Most Holy Trinity on tour again! Today they took part in a fantastic Confirmation retreat with the other young people of the cluster. To see Y6 confidently speaking to others and volunteering throughout the day was wonderful. Thanks to Dan and Emily of One Life Music for leading the retreat too - always great days! 🔥🔥🔥
A reminder of Friday's Feast of Fun!
Parents of Y6 children transferring to Y7 at St Thomas More in September should ensure your son or daughter is booked onto this, a great opportunity to become familiar with school and make new friends. ✏️😀👍
A reminder to all of our children to play and stay safe over the half term holiday. We hope they all have a well-earned rest after a busy and challenging half term.
Some super news. Two of our Year 2 girls have been chosen to represent Team England in San Sebastián in Spain, for the Dance World Cup. We are very proud of these talented girls and their families and know that if trophies were given for hard work and determination both would already be gold medallists! A GoFundMe page for one of the team members is below if anyone feels they can support. take on the World!
