Ava has been flexibly partitioning 2 digit numbers and plotting them well on a number line. Amazing!

Malachi showed how to pass a football to his partner. Great job!

The rain didn’t stop Year 3 having fun at forest schools today! They worked together to create a waterslide on the bank, a den to sit in, and a seesaw to play on. They demonstrated great collaboration and creative thinking. Well done team 👍🌳🌲💚.

Year 2 have been busy today building number lines using their base 10 equipment. They have been able to plot numbers along the line in the correct position using their understanding of the value of tens and ones in each number. Well done mathematicians!

Nursery have been muddy monsters in the woods this week. They have been creative making dens, become budding chefs in the mud kitchen, hunted high and low for treasure and had lots of fun splashing in puddles on the playground. We love going to forest school! 🌳🌲💚

Year 3 had a fantastic afternoon at forest school today. They remembered our woodland rules well, showed good listening skills when playing 1, 2, 3, where are you, had fun making mud soup and hunted for minibeasts. The communication, cooperation and teamwork they demonstrated was lovely to observe.

Nursery have had a brilliant time at their first Forest School session this week. They have been learning about, and exploring, our woodland environment as well as digging, playing hide and seek, rolling down the hill, bug hunting and having lots of fun. We can’t wait to go back next week 🌳💚.
