Today is , a day that encourages people to do good.
There are so many ways you can support your local YMCA:
π Give time - Could you spare time to volunteer? We have many projects who rely on the support of dedicated volunteers to provide essential services in our communities.
π°Give money - Registration is now open for our annual fundraising challenge Sleep Easy, why not commit to raising a target amount? Or if you're in a position to give, could you become a monthly donor?
π Give goods - our residents are always in need of essential items like toiletries, kitchenware and cleaning materials. You put together a care package to help a homeless young person start out, or donate your unwanted items to our charity shop in Wednesfield.
π Give prayers - The cost of living crisis is affecting everyone and the most vulnerable amongst us will be hit the hardest; keep these people in your thoughts and prayers to help them get the support they need.
π’ Give reviews - Word of mouth is still so important, if you've had a great experience with YMCA and want to share your story, please leave us a review on our pages or google sites.

The children have been exploring "Who am I"
We have been looking at our reflections, talking about similarities and differences.
With this in mind we extended their learning and encouraged the children to create self portraits.
They used lots of different tools to create their masterpieces and we had lots of fun discussing what we could see.
This inspired lots of conversations with the children and staff which helps develope relationships within the setting.

Elevenses - the perfect time for a tea talk.
Talking about your mental health with the people you trust is often the first step to feeling better. Small talks can make a big difference. Why not make time to catch up with someone you've not seen for a while?
