⚠️ Important Notice ⚠️

Further to the newly issued Red Weather Alert forecast for tomorrow, Friday 26th June, Wakoos Nursery will be closing from 12:00pm to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our children, families, and staff.

This applies to all children, including those attending the Petworth Afterschool Club.

Communications are currently being sent directly to families with further information.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and continued support as we respond to these exceptional weather conditions.

☀️Hot Weather Update☀️

With the high temperatures forecast this week, we are continuing to monitor the situation closely and seek advice from our Health and Safety Advisors and Early Years Advisors.

The safety and wellbeing of our children and stage remains our top priority, and we will continue to carry out regular risk assessments. If any changes to our arrangements are required, we will keep families informed.

Please ensure your child comes to nursery with:

💧Filled water bottles
🧢Sun hats
👚Light, weather-appropriate clothing.

‼️PETWORTH WAKOOS - PARENTS EVENING CANCELLATION‼️

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing sickness bug affecting our nursery community, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our parents evening today (10/06/2026).

We are currently working on a new date for Parents Evening and will let all parents know as soon as this has been confirmed.
