I have full public liability insurance and everyone living in my home over the age of 16 has had a full CRB check. I have been inspected by OFSTED prior to registration and have had a health check by my local GP. My registration allows me to care for 6 children under the age of 8, of which 3 children can be under 5 years and one of those can be under a year.

A friendly reminder from Charlie's Cheeky Monkeys 🐵💚

If your child receives funded childcare hours, please ensure that you have reconfirmed your eligibility before 31st August.

Parents using Working Families Funding are required to reconfirm their details with HMRC every 3 months. If you have not reconfirmed within the required timeframe, your funding may stop and you could become liable for your childcare fees.

✅ Check when your reconfirmation is due
✅ Complete your reconfirmation before 31st August

Please don't leave it until the last minute. Reconfirming only takes a few minutes and helps ensure your child's funding continues without interruption.

✨🧸 Looks like the dressing-up box got raided... and we absolutely loved it! 🤠🚀👑🧜‍♀️🍃🐵

Today's Disney Adventures saw our little Cheeky Monkeys arrive as some of their favourite characters, and what a magical sight it was! 💛

From Buzz Lightyear ready to head to infinity and beyond 🚀, Woody rounding up the gang 🤠, beautiful princesses spreading sparkle 👑, Peter Pan off to Neverland 🍃, and even our gorgeous little mermaid making waves 🧜‍♀️🐚... our setting was filled with imagination, laughter and magical adventures.

There's something so special about dressing up. It sparks creativity, builds confidence, encourages storytelling and lets little imaginations run wild. Watching the children become their favourite characters and create their own adventures is exactly what we love most at Charlie's Cheeky Monkeys. 🥰

Thank you to all our amazing families for joining in and helping make today so much fun. We loved every costume! ❤️

Today’s activity had all the sparkle, colour and creativity you could imagine… our cheeky monkeys got busy designing their very own princess dresses! 🌈✨ From sticking and sorting to choosing colours and textures, every creation was completely unique 💕

There’s something so special about watching their ideas come to life – building confidence, fine motor skills and of course having LOTS of fun along the way! 🎨🖐️

And just look at those masterpieces… we might have a few future fashion designers in the making! 👑💫

Our little artists have been busy getting creative and just look at these fantastic Mr Potato Head masterpieces! 🎨💛

From funky hats and fabulous moustaches to handbags, flowers and the silliest expressions… every single one is bursting with personality 🥰 Each creation is completely unique – just like the children who made them 💫

Activities like this aren’t just lots of fun (although there were plenty of giggles 🤭)… they help develop fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence as the children explore and design their own ideas 🎨✂️

We love seeing their imaginations come to life – and safe to say, they were VERY proud of their work! 🥹💛

❄️👑 A Little Frozen Magic at Charlie’s Cheeky Monkeys! 👑❄️

The cold never bothered us anyway… because today we brought the magic of a snowy kingdom right to our garden! 🧊✨

Our little explorers stepped into a frosty adventure, helping their favourite icy friends escape from the frozen world. There was lots of careful tapping, splashing, and rescuing as the children worked together to melt the ice and set them free 🦌❄️

Just like a true winter adventure, we saw teamwork, problem-solving, and imagination shining through every moment 💙 From icy discoveries to magical storytelling, it really did feel like we’d stepped into our own little Frozen world!

And of course… there were plenty of giggles along the way—because at Charlie’s Cheeky Monkeys, learning is always an adventure! 🐒✨

💙❄️ Frozen fun in the sunshine! ☀️🐒

Our cheeky monkeys had the BEST time today sending their frozen characters racing down the slide 🧊➡️🛝

There were squeals, giggles, and lots of “again, again!” as everyone got involved — and safe to say… it was a massive hit with everyone! 💦✨

A perfect mix of sensory play, movement, and imagination — turning a simple activity into big smiles and even bigger fun 💭💛

🦁🌈 Hakuna Matata… it’s sensory play time! 🌈🦁

Today at Charlie’s Cheeky Monkeys we brought a little bit of Lion King magic to our garden 🐾✨

Our cheeky explorers dived into this colourful sensory tray, scooping, pouring and discovering all the different textures. From the bright “savannah” rice to our little animal friends, imaginations were in full swing! 🧡💛💚

Sensory play like this isn’t just fun (although it definitely is! 😄) — it supports:
✨ Fine motor skills
✨ Creativity & storytelling
✨ Language development
✨ Confidence through exploration

And of course… a little bit of mess is always part of the adventure 😉🐒
