We had a fun, although very wet, morning. We enjoyed a big fire ready to cook our pancakes for our snack, a treat for our last session! We all helped make the batter and I cooked them for us to enjoy, on their own or with jam, yummy 😋 we had fun playing in our little area before going to find puddles to splash, jump, sit and lay in 😂 we love a good puddle, especially when we can jump in, splashing up in our faces, that was me!! We had fun in the ditch too. We returned to the fire to share our favourite thing before putting out the fire and then tidying up ready for lunch 🥰

We had a fun morning lighting our fire ready to cook our pancakes for snack, making our pancake mix and then some watched whilst I cooked them. The oatmilk ones were fluffier than the normal milk ones! Fun time with the mud kitchen, hiding in the trees, climbing the trees, running around on the hills and in the ditch and finding woodlice hiding under the tree bark. They dug for worms, unsure of holding them but did by the end. We returned to the fire circle to share our favourite thing and put the fire out before tidying up ready for lunch.

A fun morning finding puddles to splash in, mud to squelch in, ditches to be explored, digging for worms and enjoying drop scones, cooked on the fire, to accompany our hit chocolate. Some mud kitchen fun too.

A fun morning splashing in puddles and ditches, following a stream of fast flowing water through parts of the village, playing pooh sticks along the way. Finding lots of numbers and letters on our travels and looking at all the different coloured leaves falling from the trees! Enjoying a hot chocolate break before wandering back for lunch.

A very wet one today but we had fun playing on fallen trees, slipping in mud, running sticks along the railings to make music, visiting the Church to see tge poppies and then returning to base, as the winds were getting stronger, to enjoy our hot chocolate and biscuit, and dry off. We made some firework pictures and had fun making a den!

We had a fun morning making conker spiders and using them to climb trees, hang from trees, chase our friends and be our companion! They enjoyed drilling the holes with the palm drill, choosing the pipe cleaners and threading them through the hole, great motor skills! The spiders helped at the mud kitchen too. They collected apples from the orchard to play with and some had holes so we cut them open, and saw where the maggots had been, no maggots though. They then wanted me to cut more open, just to check and we talked about the pips inside. We read a book about autumn and talked about squirrels so we decided to go for a walk to find some but there were none!

A chilled morning making conker spiders, mud kitchen fun, counting, number matching, rolling conkers down the drainpipes, fun in the ditch, throwing and sprinkling leaves and, finding more mushrooms but not sure what they are!

Part 2 was collecting to make soup in the mud kitchen, tree climbing in the tree that had a major haircut at the weekend! Rolling in the grass, trying to lift our friends, collecting the fallen twigs for our fire basket and finding an empty snail shell that then got buried in the path!

A lovely walk to find the den, climbing trees, swinging on ropes and pretending a fallen branch was a train. We walked back a different way and had fun in the gardens, on the hills, picking blackberries, role play in the willow and in the ditch!
