🎵💙 AND FINALLY… THE BOYZ! 💙🎵

YES, BOYZ! What a session! 👏🏻💙

Tonight we were joined by Tristan’s Granny, who doesn’t often get to see Tristan perform because she lives in Norfolk.

She’s a fan of this page and follows all our shenanigans, so tonight she finally got to hear The Boyz sing live! 🥰

And honestly, it was just so lovely to see her reaction. She was absolutely over the moon! 🥹💙

It was such a joyous moment for both Granny AND The Boyz.

Thank you, Granny, for my beautiful flowers too- that was so kind of you. 🥰 And thank you for supporting SSVA and always following along with what we get up to!

Then we moved onto one of The Boyz’ brand new songs, and you can hear a little snippet in the video.

We were missing Lewis on the bass part tonight, but the lads still did a cracking job! 👏🏻

It’s a really good start to another new song and I’m excited to see where we take it!

🎵💛 YOUTH CHOIR — AMAZING! 💛🎵

Oh, I LOVED tonight so much! 🥰

We started with some great warm-up exercises, working on projection and diction, before moving onto our Christmas carols and a couple of our new songs. 🎶

Then came my TEAM LEADER CHALLENGE! ⭐️

Just yesterday, I sent a video to my team leaders and asked them to learn it and teach it to the Youth Choir tonight.

The purpose of this little challenge was to help the choir develop their beat, rhythm, timing and musical awareness — but it was also a chance for my team leaders to step up and take responsibility for teaching their peers.

And WOW… what a fantastic job they did! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I am so proud of my leaders. 💛

A beautiful night of positivity, teamwork, friendship and, of course, lots of singing! 🥰

⭐️SINGER OF THE WEEK IS IONA ⭐️

WOOHOO! Well done, Iona! 👏🏻

Tonight, just as we were about to sing one of our songs, a child piped up to say she didn’t have one of the lyric sheets in her folder.

I watched Iona quietly take the lyric sheet from her own folder, walk all the way to the back row of the choir and give it to her.

And that little girl’s face just LIT UP. 🥰

THIS was one of the most incredible displays of kindness I have ever witnessed.

No fuss.
No attention seeking.
Just a genuinely kind, thoughtful little act to help somebody else. 💛

And THAT is exactly what being part of a choir family is all about. 💛

Bravo, Iona. ⭐️

What a kind, caring and thoughtful member you are. I am SO proud of you. 👏🏻

🌸 MY FABULOUS MONDAY LADIES 🌸

What a fabulous session this morning!

Today we delved into 🪘 BEAT, TEMPO, RHYTHM & RHYTHMIC PATTERNS 🪘 using exercises to create precision, energy and clarity in the voice, before transferring it straight into our songs.

And the result? 👇🏻

✨ More energy
✨ More clarity
✨ Using less breath
✨ Singing completely in sync
✨ AND… singing those moments of silence together too! 🤫

Teamwork at its finest! 🌸

Your energy and presence were absolutely JOYous today. I may even have to celebrate your success with a pina colada 🍹 or perhaps a banana milkshake! 🍌🥛🫨🤣

Then it was onto our Christmas carols… 🎄🎶

…and a little bit of THE LION KING 🦁👑 — complete with choreography, of course! 💃🏻🤣

What a session.

💛 REMEMBERING REBECCA 💛

✨ 2026 ANNUAL BALL ✨

What a fabulous night we had! 🥂✨

Remembering Rebecca is such a beautiful charity and one that is very close to our hearts. Singing Sue’s has supported and fundraised for them over the past 15 years, and it’s a charity that is always chosen either by me or by one of my choirs. 💛

This year, our Teachers’ Choir raised funds for Remembering Rebecca at their Summer Charity Concert, helping a beautiful boy called Harry to continue receiving his treatment in London. 🤍

And last night, ALL of my choirs got involved by donating 100 bottles for the bottle raffle! 🍾👏🏻

I am so incredibly proud- and genuinely humbled- that through Singing Sue’s Vocal Academy we can continue to support such an amazing charity and the families it helps. 💛🌸💙🤍

You might recognise a few faces from our table- Evie, Katie, Olly and Andrew from Teachers’ Choir, along with my good friend Sharron. Andrew’s wife was there too, but somehow I didn’t manage to get a photo of her! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

A huge congratulations to Gemma and her amazing team for organising such a fantastic evening. I don’t know how you managed to sort 600 people! It was brilliant! 👏🏻✨ We really hope you’ve raised a HUGE amount of dosh for Remembering Rebecca! 💛

Now… time to get rid of this blooming headache! 🤪🤕🥂
